Firstly I would like to say that the one and only shining jewel of this place was the staff. Not some of the staff, but all the staff. They were all super professional and courteous and nice. Probably the nicest service experience we had in all of Puerto Rico. Now with that being said, the location and room was sub par. I’ve seen nicer Comfort Inns in Jersey. They tell you it’s an oceanfront hotel when in actuality it is across a four lane road from the beach, and the beach isn’t really accessible or pleasant and the hotel staff doesn’t recommend you go there. The nice beach is about ten minutes up the road. The constant sound of traffic is overwhelming and will definitely disturb your sleep. The rooms are clean but old. The furniture is worn and the bed and pillows were lumpy, uncomfortable and horrible. The shower only had half a door so the water would go all over the floor. The door front door wouldn’t close properly, the elevator wasn’t working, and the room had no fridge or microwave. Under the bed were huge stains that appeared like blood or rust. The tv only got like five channels. The Wi-Fi constantly went in and out. The breakfast was decent though and the staff as always very helpful. The surrounding neighborhood is not very ATM friendly or credit/debit cards weren’t accepted anywhere. Plenty of food options around but cash only. Cell service is sketchy in this area. The neighborhood is also a bit run down. Overall it was not the greatest hotel experience.

What a great way to spend the Valentine’s Day! After we got scammed by Otium Rentals and couple of bad hotel experiences we came to Comfort Inn and Rachel just made my day! She is so friendly and helpful. We told her about our cleaning concerns and she explained everything. Showed us the room and she even called after to make sure that we’re okay. And since we had a bad Valentine’s day, She gave us a bottle of wine! 🥹🙏🏻💐 Hotel is small, pretty nice and clean. Most of the places I wanted to visit is around 35 minutes away because of the traffic. Overall amazing and thank you so much Rachel! 💐

Hotel was in a quiet and relaxing location. Had a great view of the beach and ocean. Pool was nice. Real seller here is how wonderful the staff are. Only real upgrade I'd want to see is a communal by floor or room based fridge as I couldn't bring leftovers home. Overall a good experience. There's a little bit of road noise from the highway, but much quieter and cheaper than San Juan with a more family-safe environment. Pic is from my room.

This hotel was extremely disappointing considering the price that we paid. Of course we expected a language Barrier but we were equipped with translation apps to help us out however they make you sign waivers and addendums that are all written in Spanish concerning the hotel rules and fees so make sure you request a copy in English prior to signing anything. Myself and my companion stayed here about a month ago to celebrate a birthday. We were at the hotel for about 3 days. After getting to the hotel there were several extra fees that (though we weren’t oblivious to) were never mentioned on the original reservation such as resort fee, taxes as well as incidental fee which was a huge inconvenience. Then after inquiring about the amenities of the establishment specifically the pool area we were given a list of pool rules by the front desk agent. Nowhere on that list did she mention that the bar in the pool area was only Open during the weekend and not on the weekdays so considering we arrived on a Friday our expectations for the bar weren’t met after that. The bar within the pool area was one of the major reasons we chose this last minute hotel. Also day 1 we asked for our room to be serviced. After returning from site seeing for about 6-7 hours we came back to a room within the exact same condition as we had left it. After mentioning this to the front desk they apologized and handed us sheets and trash bags to service the room ourselves....so we did just that. They gave us a cheap bottle of wine as a compensation for the inconvenience. The next day we asked if we could get the room serviced again they said to come To the front and let them know when we were leaving so that they could clean the room. We walked to the near by store and returned in about 30 minutes only to discover someone in our room cleaning.. we had not yet left for the day and we had not yet approached the front desk for service as previously instructed not to mention we really needed to use the bathroom. We stood on the balcony while the house keeper serviced the room which we later realized was a violation due to hotel policy as it relates to COVID-19. The very next day we asked for new linens. They said they would bring them to the room. After waiting for over 2 hours i finally went down not so nice and was able to get clean towels. It wasn’t until I got back to the room that i noticed we only Had towels and no new clean wash rags!! Upon check out we spoke to a manager who made excuses and justifications for every incident including the vending machine taking our money. She said that the vending was a separate department ran by a separate company. This location is about 40 minutes from San Juan which is where we were attempting to stay. There are no Uber’s in this area. It’s not a “Hot Spot” for them. Lyft is banned also. The taxi ride each way us $40-$50......cash or cash app!!! The hotel is literally on the side of the highway so it’s almost always noisy...unless it’s 90 degrees which it wasn’t and even if it was it wouldn’t have mattered because the high walls alongside the pool as well as the height of the hotel itself completely blocks the sun. So the actual pool is freezing cold. This stay was horrible To say the least. I will never come back!!! I do not recommend this...

Where to begin. The only positive experience I had was check in because the young lady at the front desk was accommodating our early check-in. But everything after that was downhill. The room itself was okay, the pictures are VERY deceiving. The bathroom was semi-clean but VERY old and outdated. There was dirt piled up into the corner from years of it not being thoroughly cleaned, the toilet paper holder and the towel rack were both rusted. We ended up going to Walmart to buy shower shoes, our own towels and a holder for our bar soap since what was in the shower was disgusting and rusted. The hangers in the closet were even rusted. We lost power at this location twice. The first time was due to something at the hotel itself and also caused for the water to stop, however when I went to the main lobby no staff member was anywhere to be found and when staff did appear they walked right past me as if I wasn’t standing there. They did not care to give any update regarding the outage. I understand things are beyond their control but when you have a hotel full of guests you’d think they’d have the common decency to at least let you know what’s going on. The second outage was due to an explosion somewhere along the power grid but thankfully the hotels generator kicked on and saved us after a few short minutes. The hotel manager (or what seemed to be like the manager) was very rude and dismissive. When I was asking about the power outage and what it would affect and if they by any chance had an ETA she told me to take the stairs if the elevator didn’t work, completely misunderstanding my question. Not a way to talk to your guests. There is no mini fridge in the rooms you need to ask ahead of time if you can reserve them.. they only have 8 on the premises. The outlets were all loose and broken, some didn’t even work. This was inconvenient but also a fire hazard. The chair in the room for the “desk” was filthy and had hair on it from the previous guests. The pool was nice and was kept clean by the staff. The lobby was also fairly nice and kept neat. The ice room had dead bugs all over the floors. I booked this room because it was cheaper than staying in San Juan and wasn’t a far ride from everything we wanted to do and the view from the room was very pretty looking into the beach. This hotel I knew would not be what I normally used to and I was okay with that but this was much worse than what I expected. Never again and I don’t recommend if you want to feel clean and comfortable. Normally I kind of look forward to going back to the hotel after a long day to unwind and relax, but with this hotel I dreaded going back to the room. I even tried looking for another hotel the first night we got there, willing to pay whatever the rate would be for somewhere cleaner, but unfortunetly everything was booked. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but these reviews and photos are deceiving, this is not what...

This was my 2nd time around. First I was kind of unhappy though I decided to give it a second chance. At check in- apparently there were issues with the network or system that the hotel use. The 2 employees struggled finding a way to charge me, so they "stored" my card information so someone could bill me the next they. They were supposed to charge me for half of it because the first half was already paid during reservation.

In the room the shower had someone's nasty hair stuck to the walls. It seemed that someone shaved and left hair on the wall. I decided to clean it myself and move on.

At check out the employee told me that everything was ok so I left. The day after I noticed that I was charged TWICE. They charged me half of it when I did the reservation (in one Visa card) and then they charged the the full amount AGAIN (on a second card that I gave). I immediately called the hotel and talked to an employee named Raymond he was NOT nice. Off course I was mad due to the situation but he wouldn't even let me talk and he interrupted giving his explanation. At on point he even hung up and I called again; he answered and said that we lost communication somehow. He explained and said that "the bank" decided to hold half of my money just in case some damage happened to the room. That the hotel had no control over it that it was the bank's decision. I called the bank and they said that THE HOTEL asked them to put that money on hold (which makes more sense). Thankfully I did received my money 3 days after... on my first stay the hotel never put none of my money on hold. It was very surprising and unpleasant to me when this happened on my second stay.

I think IT NOT FAIR that the hotel NEVER told me that they would put that extra half of MY money on hold. It's MY MONEY and I should be the one in control to pay bills and others. It would be a lot better if the hotel tell you upfront so you know not to count with it...

Raymond was very rude to me when explaining what happened... he even hung up the phone. I'm not sure at this point if I will re consider the hotel again and this is very sad for me since it so perfectly located. At this point I'm not sure what to think of...
