Park Avenue South Boutique (Prom, Special Occasion, Mother Of, Tuxedos, & More) — Attraction in Toms River

Park Avenue South Couture Boutique was an hour and a half drive for us, and worth every minute.  We were looking for a prom dress and had larger stores in our area but they did not match the consistent top-notch quality and customer service we found at Park Avenue.  The dresses are extremely well organized; each aisle has a mannequin at one end displaying what type of gowns are on those racks - two piece,  form fitting,  mermaid, etc., so you do not have the frustration of trying to sort through a mishmash of styles.  Sizes are clearly divided also.  Or, you can save a lot of time by entrusting yourself to the very capable staff.  We were assisted by Karen, who was encouraging and upbeat without ever being pushy.  She was very engaging and confidently reassuring with our shy teen.  Karen was able to assess at a glance which styles would be the most flattering, so we had a large choice of excellent dresses, with no clunkers.  She was clearly working very hard, assisting numerous girls, yet she made all the girls feel special and listened to.  In addition, she skillfully helped us reach a win/win where both parent and teen agreed on what seemed "perfect," which can be tough.  What had been up to that point a very arduous day at another shop (and not the first day of looking, either) became easy and enjoyable at Park Avenue South.  I highly recommend them and would go back in a heartbeat.   I only wish we had found them sooner!!  They also have a seamstress for any needed alterations.  If you are debating whether to try this store, I think you...

Three days before my daughter's wedding, Karen and everyone at Park Ave South came to my rescue and I couldn't be more grateful! I originally ordered my dress from another shop. Unfortunately, the dress was ordered a size too small and although the seamstress made every effort to make the dress fit, I was not comfortable in it. My son's girlfriend told me that she had purchased many dresses at Park Ave South so I headed there on Wednesday evening. Upon hearing my dilemma and sensing my panic, Karen calmed me immediately and pulled dress after gorgeous dress for me to try. Unable to make a decision that evening, even after "calling a friend", I returned the next morning and purchased the first dress Karen had me try on. It needed minor alterations (or so I thought) and upon calling her, the seamstress told me to bring the dress to her home. As it happened, the hem of the dress was such that it was more work than originally thought. However, this lovely woman told me not to worry and when I returned to her home to pick it up the day before the wedding, it was perfect!!!! I cannot believe that I have lived in Toms River for 25 years and had never been to Park Ave South! I received many compliments on the dress and will definitely return!!! Thank you a million...

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Park Avenue South Boutique! From start to finish, Nick made the process seamless and enjoyable. My daughter had her heart set on the Paul Rekhi Gold dress for her senior prom (style #5210 in Almond, size 00), and after searching locally and online for weeks, we finally came across their website late on Friday, March 14.

When we called, Nick answered and immediately reassured my daughter that he had the dress in stock. He even went the extra mile by texting us pictures and videos from his store, which was incredibly helpful. To top it off, he offered expedite shipping from NJ to Charleston, SC, for just an additional $15.

We placed the order through the website and were thrilled to receive the dress on Thursday, March 20. It was perfect—no alterations needed! Throughout the waiting period, Nick kept us updated, answering all our questions and providing tracking information.
