I have mixed feelings on this ride, it's a fun classic coaster I have rode for so many years starting at a very young age. The ride itself is fairly smooth, but not the smoothest in the park by any means. It's also not terribly fast if you are looking for that thrill (gps said top speed of 50 on my phone). My complaint with the ride is I feel like I'm probably a little tall for it. At 6'2", the shoulder restraints are down firmly on my shoulders, there is no wiggle room. What I've also noticed it that the headrest (that's as soft as a cinder block) aligns with my shoulders, so my back is never fully against the seat. This becomes very uncomfortable when you head into any of the inversions where the force is pushing you into the seat. My family has season passes for the park and I rode this many times because my kids like to. Each time I have tried to position myself to be more comfortable but still have the same feeling every time. My kids on the other hand have zero complains about the ride and love the park, especially on weekdays when there...
Read moreI’ve been riding this classic since I was a kid, and it even holds a special place in my heart because I had the awesome honour of riding it during Warped Tour with one of my favourite bands, Four Year Strong! Viper is a steel looping coaster (the very first in the world with five inversions when it opened in 1982), and it still delivers a thrilling ride today. Plenty of fun loops and drops, plus that iconic tunnel section is always a highlight. A must-ride at...
Read moreThis Arrow Custom Looper is the smoothest one I've ever been on. Arrows have a really bad reputation and I think it's completely true, however they do have some exceptions and I'm glad to report that this is one of them. The ride is actually really smooth and the elements are pretty nice. This ride also gets a plus from me because it is one of only 2 coasters in this whole park that operates more than 1 train, speeding up...
