Town of Esopus Library — Attraction in Town of Esopus

Where to begin? It is a nice library. However, it is my 3rd time in here in 3 years and I am yet to see the librarians abide by their "be kind" sign. Seriously, everytime i enter they just stare at me like i am commiting a felony, the horrible crime of wanting to find a good book to read. NEVER, NOT ONCE in these 3 years they said anything that soinded like a hello. Or welcome. Or acknowledged my presence. They actually seem annoyed I am there. IVE NEVER FELT SO UNWELCOMED SOMEWHERE IN AMERICA THEN IN THIS LIBRARY. I don't complain about such things, nor do I usually care but these ladies have such attitudes that someone needs to say something....

I am actually from Kingston NY but I visit Esopus quite frequently and when I do visit Esopus I tend to stop by here alot.This library has preaty pleasant staff and I tend to enjoy coming here whether it be to buy books,DVDs,Cds,etc to check out items on my library card or just to hang out for a little bit when I come to Esopus.Between the Library shopping at Dollar General and all the other things I do there the town Esopus tends to feel like my home...

Mid Hudson Library Services Road Trip! This is my favorite Library in Ulster country (shh... don't tell my "home" library). The location is exceptional, with views of the Hudson from the deck and a cute duck pond outside the community room.
