Heritage Financial Park is a nice ballpark. All seats in the stadium have good sightlines. Seating here is roomy and provides ample legroom. It is easy to sit close to the field, enjoy the game, and watch future New York Yankees play the game. There is a nice team store located in the stadium. There are plenty of concession stands around the stadium. The Sloop Beer Company has a nice beer balcony located along the right field lines. There is also a churro food truck near right field. Food at some of the other concession stands could be better. Prices are high, but inline with other minor league teams’ stadium concessions. The stadium is cashless. On the third base line there are some good views of the nearby hill and mountains. Left field has a new clubhouse and events space, which looks nice. There isn’t too much else that catches your eye around the stadium. Looking towards the outfield you can see Interstate-84. The playing field is mostly artificial turf. Grass would definitely look and be a better playing surface for the players Be sure to purchase your parking pass online, it saves money over paying for it at the park. The stadium has good security and ushers there were very nice. Overall, this is a good place to see a game. You are guaranteed a seat with a good view and an overall...
Read moreAttended opening night tonite. Email mentioned they are cashless and that you needed to pay for parking. Suggested buying in advance online for discount. If you get day of game, it’s $10 plus $1 fee to Ticketmaster. If buy in advance it’s $7 plus $1 fee. If pay at stadium, $10 with no fee! Eat before you go. Lines very long for overpriced dry food. I waited in long line for Mill House booth. There was no menu posted there or prices. When I got to head of line I saw the precooked burgers, dogs and chicken looked burned. I chose a burger with bacon and cheese plus a beer. Luckily I watched the payment screen and saw it but was $42! I was charged for two burgers. I said something and the guy said he could not refund me and asked if I wanted another burger. A different guy told me they were out of burgers now even though I saw them in tray. Turns out they were beyond burgers and they never told me! I will never eat there again! Plan of bringing you own food and beer and tailgate or visit nearby restaurants. Other than food, venue is great and its a wonderful place to see a game and...
Read moreI am a big Brooklyn Cyclones fan and I have made the trip up the Hudson to support my team when they play the Hudson Valley Renegades at Dutchess Stadium. It is not a long ride from Brooklyn, only a couple of hours depending on traffic. My visits there have taken place over several seasons. I along with several other friends have found this place to be unfriendly to visiting team supporters. The unfriendliness has come both the locals and the people who work at the stadium. One hot summer afternoon I was hit with a stream of water as soon as I entered the stands by an employee. I was just walking in and this guy decided it was ok to come after me without asking first if I wanted to be soaked. I gave him a piece of my mind and they had a guard stand by my group the whole game as if we were troublemakers. The fans have also been rude to the visiting team and fans. I have visited other stadiums in VT, MA, CT and other places in support of my team and the fans and staff there have been friendly and kind. So beware of this place if you...
