Back in thé late 70's/80's this park was thé placé to be. I lived 3 street down from thé park. As à kid I knew thé young architect who showed à group of us kids à proposal to renavate this empty space of woods at the time. Yes. I saw Travis Hill Park being constructed. This park has à spécial meaning for me as I practiced and grew as young tennis player of 13-14 yrs of age not knowing much about thé sport. Years later I became #1 singles player on a local high school tennis team. This park exposed me to à safe environment, good neighbors, and at the time sort of à Mecca for différent races playing tennis. By thé way, good basketball games where played thère.i am now 63.
