Beautiful place, any time of year, especially autumn just before the leaves fall.. Great place to go for a walk, to sit and ponder the majesty of God's creation, or simply to bring the kids and play ball! My only critique is the metal "art" that has been, certainly without my consent (as a taxpayer), tainted with the socialist propaganda so often stated as fact.. I.e) the pro ILLEGAL immigrant rhetoric that aims to tear at the heart strings of those useful idiots who buy into the concept that President Donald J. Trump and his administration strive to 'seperate mother's from their babies', and 'split up families'..
But glossed over, somehow, is the fact that the 'TEARING APART OF FAMILIES' policy actually began under the Obama administration. Didn't hear anything about THOSE families' plight, did we?
Moreover, the DEMOCRAT President Franklin Delano Roosevelt sent COMPLETELY INNOCENT Americans of Japanese desent to suffer in internment camps, solely because of the nation from whence they came. (And yes, scores of families were seperated, many never to be reunited)..
But for some reason, when a republican president continues the policy of a democrat president, it is THEN that the policy is lambasted..
Somehow, when a Democratic president (F.D.R) locks up thousands upon thousands of LAW ABIDING AMERICAN CITIZENS LITERALLY ONLY BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE,WITHOUT A SEMBLANCE OF DUE PROCESS, that is nothing to fret over..
But when a Republican President has the audacity not to refrain from detaining people who have broken the law, my goodness, what an outrage!!! So please.. Take down the disinformation; it doesn't belong at this beautiful park, nor in this beautiful country, for...
Read moreI love this little area for my kids. Often times though, it is very packed, the playground I mean. But it has enough space for everyone, toddler and adult alike. From its floor structure, to swings, slides, balance beams and whatever that spinning thing is called, its a child's delight. There are seating areas around the playground and across from it is a pre k I think, and it allows access to their small playground as well, as long as it is not during school hours. The grounds itself are beautiful, You have the ability to walk around, see nature and enjoy other people. Its one of the cleanest parks I have seen, with the exception of the Geese feces in the grassier areas. It has a parking lot, tennis courts, vending machine for soda or water as well. If you walk further in, you will see a large Gazebo where you can sit and take pics if you like. The pond is beautiful, and you see great wildlife there. This is a great area to bring kids....OOHHHH but wait there is more, there are sections further in, which you can ... wait for it... barbecue. Yes, you can Barbecue at designated spots there....
