Havana Glen Park – Tiny Park, Big Heart
This place might fly under the radar, but don’t let its size fool you—Havana Glen Park is an absolute gem. Tucked into Montour Falls, it’s the kind of park that whispers instead of shouts. It’s peaceful, welcoming, and surprisingly packed with beauty.
The star of the show is Eagle Cliff Falls, a dramatic 40-foot waterfall nestled between gorge walls so steep and cinematic you half expect elves to appear. The trail to the falls is short and sweet—perfect for kids, elders, or anyone who just wants a light walk with a big reward at the end.
But this park isn’t just about the falls—it’s about the vibe. The energy here is calm, grounding, and downright wholesome. There’s something about the sound of the water, the stone paths, and the way the sunlight filters through the trees that makes you want to slow down and just exist for a minute.
The facilities are clean and simple—restrooms, picnic tables, a playground, and even a little campground if you want to stay the night. It’s the kind of place where you can read a book, grill some burgers, toss a frisbee, or just lay on the grass and stare at the sky like it’s 1995.

🧡 Final Take:
Havana Glen Park is a reminder that beauty doesn’t have to be big or loud—it just has to be real. This park is intimate, quiet, and full of heart. It’s not overdeveloped or overhyped. It’s local. It’s lovely. It’s the kind of place you’ll visit once and then dream about on a random Tuesday when you just need to breathe.
Whether you come for the falls, the trees, or the calm—it’ll give you exactly what you didn’t know you needed.

Read moreI’ve been to Watkins Glen quite a few times and finding Havana Glen was pretty awesome. It’s much less crowded and it’s a great place to have a picnic or a barbecue with family. The gorge is much smaller than the one at Watkins Glen but it’s no less beautiful. The falls are great and you can swim in the pond that surrounds it. The extremely short hike to the falls though might be challenging if you are with someone with mobility issues. Despite how short it is, there’s a few steep steps and slippery areas. Hiking boots aren’t at all necessary... I did...
Read moreGreat little park. We came here to see the falls, since they were closed at the main attraction downtown. Unfortunately, this had a large sign saying closed as well. But the two fishers we chatted with laughed, and said it's been closed for ten years, and actually totally fine. It was worth it! The path is NOT ADA accessible, with a large steep staircase, and a narrow and sometimes slick path. It is worth it! Awesome views of a very large waterfall. The water flows right to your feet. Well worth it! Thank you, locals, for...
