ALOHA NAIL SALON — Attraction in Town of Newburgh

I’m normally never a person to write reviews but I’m truly upset with my experience here. I went here by a recommendation of a family friend and called to schedule an appointment. When I got there the salon was extremely busy so I had to wait (which I didn’t mind). Ultimately I ended up waiting over an hour due to a disgruntled customer needing further attention. I ended up being there for over 2 hours just for a manicure. I was given a $5 coupon as an apology and my nails looked amazing. They were very apologetic so I didn’t mind and I gave the benefit of the doubt that they were just busy. I tipped and still wanted to come back.

My next time around, I had a very similar experience except this time for a fill I ended up being in the salon for closer to 3 hours despite having an appointment. I still loved my nails and had great retention for upwards of three weeks. For whatever reason I thought this was just my luck so I decided to give it another shot.

I returned reluctantly again and this time received a call about 30 mins before my appointment that they needed to push it back a bit. So we did and I came at a later time… I then waited yet again for 45 mins after they already pushed my appointment back.

For some idiotic reason I keep going back and it’s the same story each time. I don’t understand what the issue is with time management but now the fourth time I get called about 10 minutes before my appointment when I’m pulling into the parking lot that they need to push my appointment back by 45 minutes when I’m already there. Not to mention at one of these visits one of the people who was doing my nails was throwing up in the bathroom and then coming out to touch clients hands and do nails. Needless to say I won’t be returning which is very sad because I truly love the way...

Not happy with the job they did on my daughter’s nails. First she told me it would be 65 dollars and 10 dollars for each nail to put the little diamonds on . Which she said she didn’t have time for. Which I was ok with that. But then when it came to checking out she told me it was 85 dollars when she didn’t even do the little diamonds. So then I just chalked off to saying I will never come back here to my daughter. So I left the tip part blank for a reason. She then had me the receipt back and points to where it says tip. I was very embarrassed and I didn’t think she deserved one. She didn’t do I we wanted and asked for. If she didn’t have time , then she should have rescheduled. So end result I was not happy with the job, the charge or the nerve she’s asked for a tip when I left it blank on purpose. We will never ever go back there and we have been there quite a few times . This nail place SUCKS we had the worst experience EVER my poor mother in laws nails looks horrible the guy didn’t even care her toe nails are all different sizes and not even shaped… her finger nails are just.. she’s so unhappy!! We wanted the same thing!! Same picture and everything! My finger nails look okay and my toes are not bad but this is not what I wanted not what I asked for I had to make sacrifices and I’m so unhappy with the way I was being pulled around to paint my nails… Annie was pulling my arm around like I wasn’t suppose to be there… not a pleasant experience at all horrible job still tipped will never EVER return!!!!
