Chocolatier Matisse -ORANGEBURG — Attraction in Town of Orangetown

Chocolate everything!! Seriously if you like chocolate you have to visit Danielle and her amazing staff at Chocolatier Matisse. I’m not going to lie... my pants don’t fit the same as they did yesterday but it was well worth it. My daughter celebrated her birthday party here and it was perfect. They had little (not) stuffed animals for the kids to stuff and then put a little star inside with a positive word on it and then they did another activity of dipping different things in chocolate. The kids LOVED dipping their own stuff in chocolate and of course eating it. They also had pizza and cupcakes for the kids which is always perfect for a bunch of wild 6 year olds. We did also buy some chocolate from the shop afterwards and the chocolate covered Oreos are magic! They have so much great stuff. The young girls who helped with the party were so wonderful to the kids as well. Olivia helped my little guy who is 2 put stuffing in his animal and kept him busy with a smile on her face. Awful costumer services, they can’t seem to make a decision and stick to it. Was told in person, over the phone, and via social media (on different occasions) that they would be taking orders. I called at different times of day to place said order only to be told to call back later at a different time. To finally, after the 5th call since 10:30 AM, to be told that they are not taking any orders. If you aren’t taking orders please let costumers know that upfront and don’t post on social media that you will be accepting orders. It is an awful waste of time and terrible...

I just met with the owner, Danielle, to brainstorm an idea I had for my wedding favors. Danielle was able to look at a picture I had and show me how the completed product would look. She offered personalization options that fit well with my theme and at a fair price. I cannot wait to see how my favors come out!
