surprising how nice and rural it felt, despite being off of a main drag in LI. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sites are level, some shaded, and the campground is clean. No frills, but it was the perfect stay for us during the PGA at nearby Bethpage. Much more affordable than a hotel or an Airbnb! Traveled from WNY and the directions were a bit dicey- we had a slight issue with the pedestrian bridges over the parkway on our way in.
