I’ve been a loyal customer at this restaurant for months, if not years, and it’s clear that there’s discriminatory treatment against non-Korean customers. The staff, particularly the hardworking ladies, always appear to be doing a good job with Korean patrons, but when it comes to non-Koreans, the service is noticeably lacking. One of the highlights of the Korean dining experience is the variety of side dishes (Kimchi) that accompany the meal, but I’ve consistently noticed a discrepancy. While Korean customers receive the full set of 8 to 10 side dishes, we barely get 5 or 6 items. This isn’t a one-time issue—it happens frequently. When I asked about the missing items, I was told, “Sometimes we have them, sometimes we don’t,” yet other tables had the full spread that day. To the management: please train your staff to provide the same level of service to all customers, regardless of their background. It’s unfair and diminishes the dining experience. To the waitstaff: please be more mindful, as this small oversight really impacts the overall enjoyment of the meal. Thank you.

I read the prior reviews before visiting so I was a bit nervous tbh. Entering the restaurant, I was quickly reminded of a homey korean restaurant. No grandeur, no ambiance other than a comfortable homey feeling. This is why atmosphere gets 3 stars. This isn't the place for a bday celebration or an insta moment, or romantic nights but it's the place for good korean food. I noticed how attentive and hospitable the waitresses were. Service gets a 5 star. They brought us traditional tea and kept filling our water without us having to call them. Food was surprisingly good. The side dishes variety was the best I've seen in all of long island and queens. They were all delicious 🤤. I ordered kimchi chigae with no pork and they made it so well. The kimchi in the soup wasn't sour like some restaurants make it. It was perfect! I'm pretty picky when it comes to korean food as I frequent Korean restaurants every other week. This is definitely top 2 in food in all of New York! They should work on their interior ambiance a bit, but it won't stop me from visiting this restaurant again!

I had previously given this place a good review but after trying to eat here yesterday im changing it. Do not go here unless you're Asian, 3 couples sat down well after us and their food came out before us, we payed the 3 dollars for our soup and left after waiting for 20 minutes for our sushi to come out. Every tine we saw the sushi chief.making new rolls we thought it had to be ours, and then the waitress would bring it to another table. The last straw was when people who came in 15 minutes after us got their sushi in 5 minutes while we patiently waited. We were also served tea out of a pitcher while everyone else (we were the only non asians) was served...
