A hidden gem! This little tasting room is tucked behind the center of town. We visited on a Saturday afternoon during a weekend getaway to Patagonia. One of the owners, Lily, was behind the bar and gave us a thorough tour of the wines on their tasting menu. She and her partner, Emmett, were very welcoming and even gave us a sample of a 2023 that they were preparing for bottles the next day. The wines were really lovely and they both have a deep knowledge of their craft (their Malvasia was a highlight for me). We didn’t intend on eating but they have a delicious and unique small bites menu (Mediterranean-inspired bites). We had the split pea dip with lemon preserves and the lions mane mushroom “crab cake” sandwich - both were really delightful with their wines (and honestly a refreshing and welcome alternative to just charcuterie boards found at most tasting rooms). They allowed us to have our senior dog with us in the tasting room and had a very sweet dog themselves. Please support these wonderful people and their growing business! Queen of Cups needs to be on every wine lover’s (or food lover’s) list when passing through Patagonia!

This is the best hidden “speakeasy" restaurant that I have ever experienced. Tucked away in a little alley behind the main business strip in Patagonia, Queen of Cups is quite clearly a labor of love for Emmet and Lily, the owners. I took a date, and had the most delightful dinner, where everything on the menu was carefully selected, and absolutely shined. Good wine, good company, really great food (including lasagna with handmade noodles). This is not a trip to your typical suburban restaurant, with a menu a mile along and endless choices. They have a remarkably small, yet excellent menu that allows them to put their heart into every dish. It shows!

Had been looking forward to visiting Queen of Cups since they opened, and it was everything we imagined it would be and more! Everything at The Queen—from delicious cocktails and wine to curated appetizers to the entree du jour—is served with heart and flavor. We also loved all the thoughtful design details; the energy inside is fun, relaxed, and classy. Getting a chance to mingle with the lovely owners was a special treat. Thank you! We’ll be back.
