What a horrendous place. A hell on earth. For animals. Ducks are meant to swim - that’s why they have webbed feet - instead, the individuals who run Crescent duck farm put them on the hard, unforgiving concrete floor, and don’t provide a single (!) contact with water for swimming. They also cramp them into tiny dark spaces. Again, completely unnatural! And then, after keeping the ducks in this abject misery for a little while, they send them to slaughter (farm bird slaughter is agonizing and brutal), so they could profit from it. These individuals show zero mercy even to newly hatched ducklings - the man who runs the farm, a grown adult man, has no qualms posing with these helpless vulnerable babies as they are clearly put in the most unnatural, cruel environment - just look at the photo attached to this review. Over the years, this farm has exploited and killed millions (!) of ducks. But then the farmer has the nerve to complain that they are « going through tough times » and that their legacy business is suffering. Really? Crescent Farmers wake up!!!!!!!! Think about your great and great grand children and them having to deal with your slaughterous legacy.

Crescent Duck Farm raises ducks for slaughter, and its operations are deeply troubling. The ducks are confined to overcrowded, barren spaces, depriving them of basic natural behaviors such as swimming, foraging, and socializing. These vital activities are essential to their physical and mental well-being, yet they are denied in favor of maximizing production. The lack of space and enrichment leads to stress, aggression, and severe suffering.

Beyond animal cruelty, the farm's practices are environmentally harmful, contributing to pollution, soil degradation, and excessive resource consumption, all of which have a negative impact on the planet.

The farm profits from the exploitation of animals, raising serious moral questions about the ethics of such operations and highlighting the urgent need for more humane, sustainable farming...

Disgusting treatment of ducks.

This farmer keeps them in cramped spaces in the dark with no access to water to bathe in. This is a requirement for ducks but they are kept in the dark on cold hard floors here.

I'm not surprised he got such a big birdflu outbreak with these squalid conditions.

He only cares about profit and treats animals badly. Ducks are very sociable and smart animals and deserve more than what this disgraceful farm provides.

Shame on humanity for treating animals so badly and shame on the people that do it. It's always possible to provide nice living conditions but greed...
