Usonia Wine — Attraction in Town of Romulus

Amazing wines, definitely worth a trip! Alex and Julia were in the middle of harvesting and we requested a wine tasting. They were very accommodating since during harvest season they normally schedule tasting on Saturday’s. Alex offered that his Mom, Amy was in town and could do an informal tasting with us. Amy was fabulous! We had a great time, loved the wines and left with three bottles. I recommend scheduling a tasting, you don’t want to miss Usonia! You want live music and 3 food trucks--don't come here. You want quality wines, good people, and an unpretentious atmosphere--this is your place! Alex was beyond incredible. The wines were unique AND superb! We've been to 90% of the FLX wineries in the past decade, and Usonia should be on everyone's radar! One last comment... we traveled from Indy, and they were closed on our days here...so I emailed them, and the response-- you come on over, I'll open just for you two! Had a tasting here in June 2024. Went here after a recommendation from a friend. Off the main Seneca path but worth the drive! Met with Julia who offered the following wines to taste: Cayuga 23, Riesling 22, Tocai Friulano 22, a blend from 23 featuring 6 grapes, and a cab franc 22. The Cayuga, Riesling and cab franc were my favorites of this trip to the finger lakes and the other 2 were nice as well. The cab franc was one of the best I’ve had.
