I am not one to leave negative reviews but after my experience today, I think it’s important to share. I called last week to make an appt for myself, my husband, and best friend as we were all planning on getting a similar tattoo on our wrist. I explained it was two of our first tattoos and asked some questions as well as info on cost so we knew how to prepare. For the small black heart outline tattoo and date they said their minimum was $80 and he couldn’t imagine it would be much more than that, maybe $5 or $10 more. Yesterday I got a call from the tattoo artist Katt asking if we could reschedule for Sunday, that she had a “drs appt thing that came up” for Saturday. I said unfortunately we weren’t available during that time but could be flexible on Saturday. She said that it would be an all day thing and that she would call me back. I never heard from her. I called this morning to ask if our appt was still on and was told yes. We arrived at 1:15 for our 1:30 appointment. The person doing our tattoo came out from the back, never introduced herself, welcomed us or anything and immediately showed me a heart that she already had outlined and started going through font suggestions for the date. When I inquired about adding a small cross to the inside of my finger and asked about pricing she said the heart tattoo would be $120-$130 at least. When I told her what I was quoted she got very upset and said she needed to go speak to someone about it and went to the back room and closed the door to talk to someone. I looked at my husband and best friend and said that this didn’t feel right. My husband is covered in tattoos and said he never felt like this with any of the people he has worked with before either. We were made to feel like an inconvenience to this girl. I have gone to PA for numerous piercings and have always heard great things about their tattoo shop and we were so disappointed with how this experience went down. When she came out I told her this wasn’t going to work and cancelled our appointment. Right away we called a well known tattoo shop in Rochester who got us all in immediately, treated us well, and charged each of us $80 for the same tattoo and I paid $120 for the heart tattoo and cross on my finger. Because of her poor attitude she lost out on not only our business for this tattoo but also business for their shop. I’ve always recommended PA to people I know who ask for tattoo and piercing recommendations, but will...
Read moreWell I was going to give it a 5 star until I found out that I was in fact right and the female piercer was wrong. I went in with my daughters and spent over $300. Which the review had nothing to do with the money. I wouldn’t take a refund even if they offered it because that’s not my point!! My daughter and myself got angel bite piercings and my other daughter got a surface piercing. When I was sitting in the chair, I noticed that she was going to use the same needle for both piercings. I thought if I remember correctly that’s not how you do it. Two separate piercings done on the same person get two separate needles. So I addressed her on this matter and she reassured me that yeah I’m going to use the same needle again to pierce the other side and it’s OK. Well, I posted it down below in a picture that it is not OK to use the same needle on more than one piercing because the needle could become dull or infection becomes a higher risk factor. This is unprofessional and it’s unethical!! The fact that she lied to my face is absolutely disgusting! I’m horrified. What bothers me more is the fact that how many other people has she done this to?
I’m not gonna go back-and-forth with you on this, but this is an update from what you just posted. 100% guarantee you that for a fact, she used the same piercing needle on both sides of my lip for my angel bites! (one needle two piercings) So basically you just called me a liar. I understand you have to protect your employees, but I know what I said to her and I know what...
Read moreI took my 12 year old granddaughter in today to get her ears pierced, (second hole). We got there about 12:15/12:20,(they open at 12), it was pretty busy already. No big deal. We got her name on the list and sat down. We waited about 25 minutes, but again, no big deal. The piercer called her over to pick out the earrings, took my i.d. and gave me the waiver/ permission form to sign. I paid and she started sanitizing. My granddaughter who REALLY wanted her ears pierced was nervous, but the piercer,(Christine? I'm sorry, I'm terrible at remembering names), updated to say Courtney made her feel comfortable and made the process easy. She can't wait to come back for another piercing,( cartilage next time). I had piercings done here years ago, and that's the reason I chose you for my granddaughter. I have and will continue to recommend you guys! I am confident and felt safe taking her as it is a very sanitary shop. Thanks for making her happy, and making her feel comfortable. Just popped in to get a nostril piercing for the same 12 year old. Alain Courtney was WONDERFUL! Their service and knowledge makes it worth the 40...
