The good things people say about this park in their reviews is true. However, when it comes to their nature trail, it falls in the same category most other parks with nature trails fall into: not safe. It's riddled with pine needles, fallen branches, loose pine cones, all kinds of things you can slip and trip on. And since this area can be pretty darn rainy, the natural dirt trail is slip-and-trips galore. The topography doesn't help either. I really wish parks around here did better when it comes to trail safety, but they just don't. Not recommended...

I would give it 5 ☆'s except for the fact that there's signs posted all over saying "ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS ALLOWED" I Have a Service Dog and it made me feel unwelcomed when I arrived there with her. A wonderful playground, even with some snow on the ground. My kids played, masked the entire time, and I enjoyed the fresh cool air. I can't wait till spring is here FOR REAL and they can play without getting soaked by slushy snow. There seems to be great walking/biking paths, too! Also I saw a Little Free Library.

Really nice playground. Spacious and a big shaded sand pit. Not sure where these great bathrooms are that other reviewers are talking about, but I’ll look further next time…

This park is awesome for young children! I would highly recommend going. The equipment is in excellent condition and the giant sand box was a huge hit with my kids
