LOFT — Local services in Town of Vestal

Every time I go in here the women working are very cold to me. 75% of my work wardrobe is from Loft, I have the credit card, and I'm always polite. So I'm not some one off customer. No idea what they are like that.

Yesterday I went in around 6:30 knowing they were about to close. There was literally no one in the store. I walked around a few minutes before the lady came out from the back. She started folding sweaters and announced "we are closing soon" I explained I knew that, but I work a lot and was trying to grab a sweater on my way home. She said something about not having time to try things on... another couple came in after I did and she wasn't any friendlier to them. I bought 2 tops and left. When I tried them on at home, one was really ill fitting. I went today to return it.

The woman doing my return was really rude. She looked at me like I didn't belong in the store. She didn't ask me why I was returning it, if I needed another size, or if I wanted to look around. She talked to me as little as possible. Another customer had a coupon she didn't use and offered it to me. I hadn't planned on shopping, but I took the coupon and grabbed a few things. The coupon was already redeemed, I shrugged it off and did not ask for anything. The woman from my return a few minutes earlier started saying it was a "passed on" coupon and was just sort of nasty about the whole thing. Again I was totally okay the coupon didn't work and didn't ask them for anything I just paid my $120 with no fuss. At this point a third sales woman comes out and the older woman starts whispering to her, they glance at me and go back to their hushed exchange. Maybe they weren't talking about me, maybe they were.

All I can say is that in the past 2 days, I've had 2 rude sales wome at this location. I'll drive to Moosic or...

The sales "associates" are totally useless. I went in on a weekday afternoon and there were five of them, ALL in circle talking about nothing as if they were in high school. They do not greet customers. They do not take customers to fitting rooms. They do not do anything. While I was there for 15 minutes, at least two customers went to fitting rooms while the sale associates paid no attention. What is the point of having a store if there is no service? Do not bother and...

Love Loft clothes! They are perfect for casual or dressy occasions and hold up very well. Great sales make the clothing reasonable for the quality. The staff at the Vestal store are so accommodating and helpful! This is my go-to store...
