You just can't beat a walk in the woods in early summer on Washington Island, and this area is one of the best on the island. Except for ocassionally when something's going on in the downtown area, or some days out at Schoolhouse Beach, you're not going to run into very many people, and even less of a chance taking a walk about in this natural area. Head over to the shore to gaze out over the water for a bit, then wander over to Red Cup for some of their killer coffee.
