This place is a great way to spend a rainy morning. It is free to go in. I took kids 5,8,&11 here and they enjoyed it. I wasn't able to read everything in the back room because of my 5 yr old but got to at least learn a little bit more. The kids enjoyed smelling the different grapes. The kids also enjoyed going outside and looking at the grapes. They had 5 jams to sample for free and grape popcorn. We tried 3 wines for $1 each and bought one for under $20 so the prices are reasonable. The kids all shared a grape slushie which was big enough for each one to enjoy and make their tongue purple. Read moreWe learned of this place in a wine region travel guide. I was very impressed. You could purchase samples of three or four different wines, and they also sell a scoop of concord grape ice cream, which was very refreshing. They have a shop and sell gift items in their store. I had to buy the concord grape candle, which was out of this world! The history behind the local wineries includes soil from Lake Erie, which is perfect for growing grapes. Many different wines were available for purchase, and we did enjoy all of the displays. There was no charge to enter the museum. It was not crowded either. We plan to go back and...
Read moreAwesome! We were there this past weekend checking out where to take a group on a tour bus. This will definitely be a stop on an up coming tour. They have a good sized gift shop area. A room where they do wine tastings, 4 large tastings for $6.00 from several different local wineries are offered. I looks like they offer more to taste in the summer months but it was February. Then to make it just a little better they have a museum area going through the history of the grape industry. This is a stop that would appeal to children or senior citizens and all in between as well as wine drinkers to...
