The classic mini golf course is exquisite, top notch mini golf fun for the entire family. Tricky turns and dips, fun scenery, and well kept terrain. In fact, the mini golf course captures just about everything that the cave man mini golf lacks. The Cave Man Mini golf is a mundane cesspool of worn dinosaur sculptures and poorly mowed grass and bumpy, raw ground. This makes for a difficult, yet unexciting adventure. Paying money for the Cave Man Mini Golf after having played the normal course is like eating dinner at a five star resturaunt, and afterwards eating dessert out of the dumpster in the back alley. Every single hole is exactly the same, you could just as easily stop at walmart on the way home, buy a tiny rubber ball, and continuosly putt it at the back corner of the fence in your yard. Unless of course you enjoy starring at rusty, prehistoric creatures. Again, great mini golf, but for the love of God stay away from the Cave Man...

Fun time for families, couples, groups, you name it. The course is interesting and clever, and it has some fun challenges. There's no overarching theme (which I prefer because it keeps it interesting).

If you're in a slow group, it's nice to let quicker groups play through. The price is great, too. There's another branch in Sylvan Beach if you want variety.
We took our three year old and he enjoyed running his ball directly to the hole. The prices are reasonable even if you only do half the course. The hardest part for my kid is leaving the ball behind (and unlike some places, you can't buy a dead ball as...
Read moreAfter a long day working in the fields on the farm knowing our daughter had called ahead to the Gold Rush asking what time they closed and what time was last play. We arrived 20 minutes prior to what they had told her, only to have an employee come out and yell to my Husband they just let the last people on and we could not play. Keep in mind they JUST let the other people start. My husband expressed that our daughter had called this afternoon and was told the time they stopped play to which was answered rudely they were all done. Trust me we will not be returning and we will be sure to let everyone we know how easy it is for you to disappoint a child who drove over 30 minutes just to play at your course. Thank you to PALM SPRINGS GOLF for a great night and not being...
