I bought this car from Upstate auto gallery march 25th, upon picking up the car i noticed smoke coming from my turbo and the guy there told me not to worry about it its just from the rain, the day i picked it up the alternator went, then the second day my check engine light came on for a crankshaft and camshaft correlation, then on April 1st i had an oil change done and was told that my car wouldn't pass inspection due to a rotted radiator core support which is shown in the picture uploaded. Then 18 days later the car blew up. The dealership agreed to work on it. But still planned on making me pay for it. And throughout the time of them having my car, which was April to September after originally telling me that it was only gonna take a few months. And said they would keep me updated, which they did not. I called them every time. And then in August they texted me which is very unprofessional. Just to let me know that my car was going to be pushed out even further. Not to mention my car was dropped off at somebody's house. The engine was brought to a machine shop And after the update. I asked for the number to the machine shop that was working on my engine And was told that if I was to call the shop that it may upset them and was told he wasn't even gonna look at it till oct. So after many months of doing absolutely nothing. I went and picked up my engine just to find out that it's completely trashed and so is my turbo. After figuring this out I contacted the dealership to let them know the situation and they basically said we're done helping you I explained my situation asking to talk to the owner, then called me that same day, unfortunately I missed the call, I called back 15 minutes later just to be told that the owner was gone for the week. I tried to call back the day he returned. They said he wasn't there. Then left me a text message stating that nothing would come good from talking and that they went above and beyond for me. Point is, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, once they make the sale your on your own, now im stuck paying 11k for a car that sits in my driveway and will take no less than 5k to get it going again. They are very sketchy people and only care about sales not the customers and when you have a problem and ask to talk to the owner she will say her dad isnt here.
EDIT: A few days after my review was posted i started receiving a bunch of anonymous/*67 calls and after some digging i found out it was the dealership themselves (Scott Bechtel) or whoever they have calling me from a few different numbers, and i assume this is over my google review and BBB report, they would call my phone over and over then hang up even as late as 11:30pm. This is hands down the pettiest and unprofessional dealership iv ever encountered and regret doing any business with them.
No threats were ever made to this business me and my family have been more than patient as they "work" on my car after making no progress in 4 1/2 months, nothing was wrong with the drain plug, never once did i have an oil leak not to mention they illegally inspected it to begin with
Also il post every single text message i ever sent, dont ever say i harassed or threatened you and i have the receipt from where i had my oil change done and was even allowed to go out and look under my car with the mechanics hence why i have the picture of the rotted...

Pros- Willing communicate through email/text Gave estimated trade in value before seeing the car (Although 1.5 hours away) conveniently located Didn't seem pushy
Cons- 1.First sound after starting vehicle was loud clicking noise from a faulty hot to cold HVAC door (bad first impression if you don't know what it is) Monitors were not complete(is a check engine light going to come on?) Had snow tires installed (although it seems like a good thing, you'll have to buy tires in the summer. After turning on the heater you could smell a mild smoke smell indicating it was more than likely smoked in. (Not a huge deal, they make scent bombs for that) When asked to see the vehicle on a lift, the sales gentleman didn't say no, he said more than likely the lifts were all full. Before the conversation could continue a lady butted in and and somewhat rudely stated that customers were not allowed in the shop anyway due to insurance reasons.
Takeaway: That lady should mind her own business she just caused a lossed sale. Are they hiding something or selling junk vehicles, for which no one is allowed to look underneath a vehicle?
I've bought a fair amount of cars and have had a lot of work done. Before my 2 years of experience as an auto technician I've been in a lot of shops looking at and under vehicles for many reasons and not once was told no "insurance." I've also showed customers vehicles on lifts for the last 2 years sales and service related. I'm not buying a vehicle on someone else's word that everything is sound and was fixed.
Edit: they don't open until 9am and I've received 4 phone calls in 5 minutes one being...

Hello all, I purchased a vehicle here a couple years ago. Turns out the rear suspension crossmember subframe on the vehicle I purchased was rotted out. Due to how thick this K-Frame is, it is LITERALLY impossible for 2 Syracuse winters to completely destroy it. Not only was it rotted out, rubber caulk was used to fill gaps in the rotten K-Frame and to hide rotted welds. It was so rotted and thin I could bend it by hand. Replacing this K-Frame WAS A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS. There is NO WAY they were not aware of the extent of this upon selling it, ESPECIALLY considering the rubber caulk used to hide the rot.
I called them, they gave me a run around and I requested to have a return call from the owner, but they did not reach out to me.
Reading some of these other negative reviews there's a pattern of deception and negligence. I will be filing a report with the DMV and the District Attorney's office. Hopefully, they will lose their ability to inspect vehicles, possibly even sell vehicles.
P.S I don't care about lemon law, I want you to be investigated.
Update : To whomever replied, you're right it did pass inspection, but did they even put it in the air? Probably not, they will obviously also be investigated. You're also being completely disingenuous, it is physically impossible for a single Syracuse winter to rot to through 3/16th inch metal like you claim "a lot can happen in a year". Otherwise people will be needing new vehicles every single year if that was the case, and the frame is practically rust free still. Also, you don't even address the rubber caulk to fill in holes...
