The place was utter chaos when we arrived. The staff was disorganized. Almost walked out. Advised we had a dog and went outside and sat down anyway since the had live music and waited for a good while. Eventually a waitress came out and finally took our order. Food was surprisingly very good. Speaking to waitress she advised been very long day and very short staffed as most places seem to be. This put a perpective on things. A beer help and enjoyed the good food and music. Just be patient, not a place to go if in looking for a quick bite. But worth the wait. Update 2nd Visit not as good, the owner is not a pleasant person. We returned again and since traveling with a dog went back. Waitress sat us down with dog and we ate. End of our meal we were rudely scolded and advised by the owner no dogs are allowed ever and we shouldn't have brought one. It is a grass field with extremely spread out tables and we were there before on a much busier time and welcomed. Most outdoor restaurants in the area including the brewery across the street are very dog friendly. I could understand if active or noisy dog but he just laid there the whole time. Ran out of most alcohol over an hour early. Ran out of both the chicken and prime rib. Scallops during cocktail hour ran out quickly and one of the items was served cold when it shouldn’t have been. A few other things too, but I’ve made my point... we didn’t get everything we had been promised. Reached out via email, and had to email twice before getting a short, nonspecific response with no explanation for the issues or resolution. Disappointed more with the response to our complaints than I am with the issues themselves. Just goes to show once you’ve already paid, customer service goes by the wayside. We were 1st upset about something when we 1st arrive there with the way we got treated, which I don't care to repeat and we were about to leave unhappy and Shelby took the time to greet us upon her shift arrival. I told her we were unhappy and was leaving but she cared enough to ask what was wrong and I kinda, reluctantly informed her and after speaking with her. She apologize and explained a few things, so we decided to stay to give it a chance. We are sooo happy that we stayed for food and drinks and we will happily go back to eat & drink again when SHE is working.
