Flume Falls — Attraction in Town of Wilmington

Really great spot to jump of some reason big rocks. Don't listen to the people in the other reviews saying its crowded that was only in the "Covid Era" but now of you go basically anyway of the week there will be at most probably 2-6 families. The water under the jumping areas are really deep so you don't have to worry about hitting the bottom and its a really great place for pictures. It was a peaceful and adventurous trip to the flume falls. The free parking lot can hold about 8 cars and it was a tough walk down to the water. Slip resistant shoes were very helpful. We reached an area where we could easily swim around but this was also very rocky. If you continue climbing, you will come to an area where several people were cliff jumping and you can also get a good view of the falls. The water was clean and very peaceful. There are two trails that are great for hiking and/or biking. The parking area is small but large enough for the traffic most days. There is another small parking area on the opposite side of the road if the main lot is full. Also if you follow the well worn path near the parking across the street it leads you to a nice little swimming hole.
