Read moreFirst time here. I've done a lot of skiing in the Northeast. Really liked this mountain. We were here last year, but at 25 below zero, we skipped the skiing. This year it was significantly more mild, about 12 degrees. Picking up the passes, getting situated and on the mountain were simple. The lifts were well run, there were no lines when we were there, and the slopes were well maintained. The lodges were all very nice and also well maintained.
DON'T MISS: Whether you can ski from the peak or not, take the cloudsplitter gondola to the peak. The view is outstanding and you can ski blue all the way down. If you are not inclined, you can take the gondola right back down.
Can't wait for...
