Have been going here for over a decade, great family park. Nice place for anything "parksy" really, there's a shelter for a picnic, or could picnic under a tree or in the grass! Plenty of room to throw a ball around or play tag, a couple cogent play grounds. A catch & release pond with a spray fountain in the center, with frequent ducks, a splash pad for the kids (well for anyone really, cuz Lord knows when it's HOT out & I'm up there I'm getting my feet wet and coolin off too, lol) there are restrooms, a tennis court, volley ball area with sand, a couple baseball diamonds, it's just a great family friendly park, dog friendly too (provided their on a leash and you pick up after them) :) It's clean, & there are various trashcan throughout, so if we want to KEEP it clean & we see litter, let's pick it up & put it in the can to keep it clean for the people...

Frozen custard stand across the street that would remind one of a mellow 50's era...

It has a very nice center that sprays water in many directions. It is a good way to keep the water moving. The water was very clear but it gets distorted by the waves. The park itself is very nice and clean. The bathrooms are well maintained. I will have to go back and see it without all of the booths up for the festival to get a better feel...
