A delightful museum space, with an interesting basement gallery complete with brick archways and alcoves to highlight the space beyond lighting. We visited while the quilting exhibit from the Baptist church was on its last days of showing. I have also visited a dear artist friend's solo exhibit opening in said basement gallery . The curator was so informative in the highlights she provided as to materials & meaning behind some of the works. The next wall hung sculpture exhibit is on my to do list. I believe the center is an under utilized cultural experience that many more should avail themselves to. I understand with some notice group tours are encouraged and accommodated. The ground floor of the historic post office is so perfect for art with the high ceilings and the flood of natural light from the windows.
