BSweet Dessert Boutique — Restaurant in Troy

Let me start by saying that our visit was not to purchase any goods, but to visit with them on our way to Gadsden for Thanksgiving. While we have quickly become friends with this family, I still do my best to give honest reviews, and this will be no different.

They were very busy when we arrived since they were busy getting people their orders for Thanksgiving. Not only do they have great cakes, breads, pastries, cookies, etc., they also cater, and they make food items around the holidays that you can order and pick up. They were friendly to every customer while we were there. It obviously smells amazing in there.

We have had the privilege to try a few items, sour dough bread is amazing, pound cake is truly outstanding, brownies are great. I don't think they make anything that isn't good.

If you are looking for baked goods in the Troy area, I highly recommend you check them out. Even if you are traveling through Troy and might need something at your destination, stop here and get it or call ahead, and they will have it ready for you. You will not be disappointed! Buy local if you can!

DELICIOUS!!! We stopped in to try something sweet after lunch. And they delivered, not only sweet but unique. I am personally not a cupcake fan. Half the frosting goes up my nose when I eat them. And it’s a small piece of cake. But these cupcakes are delicious. The traditional strawberry and the chocolate ones were the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, moist and packed with flavor. NOT the grocery store fakey flavor. The unique flavors were so artistically presented and were a joy to try. I think the fact that they are stepping out of the box really makes this bakery unique and delicious. We also tried their chunkys. A thick cake like cookie. Again not my thing, cookies should be crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. But these chunkys are unique flavors and are delicious. We’ll be back next time we’re through...

BSweet catered our cake/cupcakes for our wedding recently. It was a fake cake and plenty of amazing cupcakes for our big day. The tasting we had was amazing and so much fun! Getting to personalize the flavors was awesome and our guests loved the variety. We specifically recommend the Earl Gray frosting because it’s our personal favorite, but we loved all the cupcakes. Highly recommend this small and local business. I live in Prattville now (probably the best for my wallet hah!), but I knew had to support the best bakery from my hometown, so if you’re in Troy or visiting, I highly recommend BSweet with your sweet tooth needs...
