So grateful to find this trail. It was a beautiful + very calm walk. •Don't forget to bring drinking water!•
The trail is well kept, fairly flat and wide. Also small human, picnic (pack in, pack out) and pet friendly! There are plenty of places to sit along the trail and no shortage of places to play in the water.
The water is stunning emerald, you can see large rocks and small fish through it. You see an occasional snake, frogs, turtles and birds. The flora is incredible and my favorite part! There are 2 (or maybe 3) benches along the way to sit and rest or enjoy the scenery. We always see some type of flowers in bloom along the way. .. Trillium, Iris, Wild Ginger, Texas Blue Star, Bloodroot, Trout Lily, Wild Astor, Dog...

Interesting sites along the way and at the end. Lots of wildflowers, so the spring is a...
