Al Basha Grocery — Attraction in Tucson

We were traveling from Yuma AZ. About 3 hours away. So I looked up reviews to see which place was the best for prices. I saw a couple reviews about this being the best price. So we went and got all of our shopping done. Over $500. We asked the guy who has good falafel. He told us the caravan was good. So we went there, we checked out their grocery store also. They may not have all the variety as al basha. But they were cheaper definitely for olive oil and tahini about $7 difference. We could of saved over $50 to $60 going to caravan from the beginning. It's ok though. We were grateful for the good customer service at al basha. He also gave us a case of a mango drink at checkout for free. However a more competitive price on the products we did buy would have been better for us.. all in all, I would recommend everyone to do a price check on the products you buy and compare the stores, especially when you're...

I bought beef salami once, brought it home and realized it was expired. I let it go.went there again last week and bought halal sojouk ,2 days later when l opened the package realized meat was rotten, tasted horrible and smelled funky.I grew up eating sojouk and know how it supposed to taste like.l tried to find the expiration date ,there was no expiration date on it! I decided to check everything else l bought from them,box of chocolate was expired also ( luckily that one had expiration date on it) everything else was ok but some of the item was about to expire very soon,I had like week left on some of the items.I like the owners,they are very nice and friendly but check your items expiration date before you buy anything...

Expired items every time I got. Many times I talked to them about it. They act surprised and removed them and I got a few weeks later, it is the same. Last time I went, I told the chair and he said ‘yeah, it is expired that is why it is for sale’. Dairy there is infamous of being expired all the time. Never go there.

I was there this afternoon and saw items that are expired on September 7th.. not one, like 12 of them…

Dairy, I checked again today and found multiple that are expired 5 days ago… so I don’t know what are you talking about....
