This is my second time through the pre-licensing education for the Arizona real estate salesperson license. the first time I went through Arizona School of Real Estate and business up in Gilbert and of course this time I am doing it through Hogan and I'm happy to share that I will be finished this coming Thursday the 27th of the 6-week evening course from 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Although the content is extremely dry and comes at you rapid fire every single day every single class until there's no more definitions or key facts or math formulas to cram in your head, Hogan has done a fantastic job at training the teachers and keeping their course content up-to-date. if it weren't for the very well trained teachers that all seem to incorporate a decenr amount of humor into every class, I would swear that that three and a half hours every night I am in class is the only period of time in my day where it feels like I'm going minute to minute to minute. The class format is also good with each course starting off with a 30 to 35 question quiz on the previous sections material which is gone over as a group 15 minutes into the beginning of each class every night. With the two 10-minute breaks split up after the first 60 minutes and roughly the second 60 minutes as well, it is not IMPOSSIBLE to pay attention and stay focused for the entire class. :) There's an article in the coffee room that is hung on the wall that mentions something to the effect of... Hogan real estate school has always been the least inexpensive option yet has always been the most popular in terms of getting people licensed, and it is reflected throughout my experience with Hogan as a whole from before I registered online and finding all the available information as well as course scheduling payment options and other education they offer as well, to stopping by the office and getting my coursework printed from the staff up front, again to the trainers that make every class as informative yeah humorous at the same time, and let's not forget the coffee and tea and vending machines that keep us caffeinated throughout those late-night stretches of class. you will see why it Hogan is the number one school and you will be very very happy with the products and services provided by Jim Hogan...
Read moreI had signed up to do the classes in person but, had to miss a day because my car broke down. The following day when I arrived at class I was told by Jenny that I had to repeat the whole course over except at home and online because I had missed an important day and you cant miss any days. So I agreed, I actually prefer working at home alone. This way I wouldn't have to ride my motorcycle all the way down there in the morning in 30 degree weather from Marana because my car broke down. Then she changed the story and said that I could just do one class online for the class I missed and then return to the classroom. I said I would prefer to do it at home but she changed the story and now she wanted me in the class. She was just trying to manipulate me with the threat of redoing the whole class at home so she could act like she was doing me a favor when she said I could return to the class. She thought that I wouldn't actually want to redo the whole program at home and she would look like she was doing me a favor, because its not typical that someone would choose more work. It turns out Jenny makes more money from in person classes than the online one so she told me I had to switch back to the classroom and forced me to come to the class. I had to ride my motorcycle down in freezing weather all those days in the morning all so Jenny could make a few bucks more. The people who bought the school out from the Hogan's make the majority of the profit from the online enrollment that's why she defers people into class. Oh and on top of all that I was treated like the bad guy after that and had to return and see these people all the days. Go figure. By the way the online program was...
