Very disheartened by the service I got from the employees here especially the man who came to get my big furniture items. The attic was suggested to me by someone I knew who said they had a truck and would come pick up big prices of furniture so I gave them a call. The calls started in mid June. I told them I had multiple peices of furniture I needed picked up along with a bunch of boxes. I was told that they would pick up both furniture and boxes the same day for one set price. It took a month for the guy to finally come out and get my stuff. When he got to my house his entire demeanor changed when he saw every4hing we needed to donate. He then proceeded to go out to his truck and make a phone call and go off on whoever he was speaking to in the other end. He was yelling so loudly I could hear him all the way in my house. He gave me a very bad and unprofessional attitude the entire time he was here. He never called me by my name he just kept referring to me as "her" He acted like it was the end of the world that he had to come and get our stuff even though there were multiple people there to help him move every4hing. He never took our boxes claiming he had to talk to somebody at the office even though we were told he would get them while he was here. He then gave me a hard time about honoring the price i was given to have the items picked up. His unprofessilnalism and rudeness was completely uncalled for and not appreciated. He ended the experience claiming he would call me back but I haven't heard anything from anyone at the company. I feel lied to and misled. If you didn't want to take these items whether it be fur iture or boxes then be professional enough to tell me over the phone and not waste a month of my time trying to figure out when I can get you guys to come out. I was upfront and honest about what I had to donate but you guys couldn't show me the same respect. This is one of the best laid out thrift stores that not only has thrifty clothing, toys, books and housewares but also vintage items and a few real antiques. We visited today Tuesday June 25, 2024 and was amazed at how they have developed through the years. The employees and volunteers have done an amazing job of organizing everything as well as making sure everything is clean. My wife and I even witnessed an amazing antique pump organ in great condition. Everyone we met in this establishment was awesome and they are a beautiful asset to their community in helping so many people in need from low income, the homeless and every day people looking for a wonderful addition to their home, office or for someone who wishes to resell items for a profit. This is a church owned thrift shop and I was very disappointed. Their prices were outrageous! I could go to Walmart and get a better deal on new items. I thought churches were there to help people out especially when things are donated! They are even more expensive then the goodwill which is another over priced thrift shop! The only thing I could figure out the reason was there’s not much competition in the area. I see some people have given this thrift shop good ratings and they must have never left Tullahoma to venture out and see good deals! I did go to the Good Samaritan thrift shop and they have really good prices on their donated items!! I will be taking all of my donations to the Good...
