I love the flea market and all the really neat things you can find there. But I'm really disappointed in the majority of the prices, especially for clothing items which are generally price at $20 average per item. I was expecting better deals compared to regular stores and online. There are several booths with great deals so don't be deterred from going but also don't be surprised if you do find higher prices at another vendors booth. The vendors are great people who are very friendly and eager to make a deal. There's a little bit of everything too from clothing, jewelry, home decor, antiques, toys, accessories of all sorts, puppies and other animals, bargain dollar bins, knives, beauty products, rugs, furniture, coins, books, movies, artificial flowers, and much more! Not to mention the variety of food items such as shaved ice, funnel cakes, ice cream, cupcakes, dried vegetables, and much more too in addition to the furniture market's own cafe offering hot dogs hamburgers and other items on their menu. It's open every 2nd weekend of every month on Friday from 5pm to 9pm, Saturday at 9am to 7pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 5pm for only $1.00 per adult and children over the age of 5 years old. They have strollers and shopping carts for rent too for $5 and hold your driver's license until you return the buggy back to them. It's a cheap and interesting venture on a boring...
Read moreI feel that my daughter was discriminated against while we were at the flea market today. She is autistic and has severe anxiety. She has an emotional support ball python which the Dr from lebonheur suggested and supports. When we are out with it it stays on her arm or neck unless someone ask to see it. She never forces anyone to see it or touch it. She just minds her own business. I understand people being scared of them but at the same time there is people scared of dogs, cats and other animals that can be seen and also that is on leashes not close to their human. With this being said my daughter and I were ask to leave or put her snake in the vehicle. We have a doctors note saying why she has it with her. We have been coming every month with it for 2 yrs and we have never had any problems. I don't understand why the signs says no animals on the floor but we see them on the floor and her...
Read moreI've been a vendor a few times and have spoken to other vendors while there, everyone is very friendly and helpful! I enjoy speaking with potential customers and answering their questions as well as help with deciding if what they are looking for is something that I can offer them, be it on display or as a custom order! I've been able to walk around a bit but, well most of it isn't a necessity for me. There are lots of crafters as well as 3rd party vendors. There is truly something for everyone, so come and enjoy! I'm back this weekend and plan on being here in August as well. I'm in Bldg 3 on the main level in the outside aisle in Booth A34. I'm a sewer and quilter and my work speaks for itself! Hope to see you soon!! I also do custom orders! Everything I sell is made by me! So...
