It’s a very nice park. I’m giving it a 3 instead of the five it should have. As you see today the park is mostly empty. The 3 rating is because it is a frequent homeless hangout. I’ll add some pictures latter in the day. Just be careful. The swings look ok but Turlock has no public sanitation so sewage from people that have nowhere to go maybe present as well as needles and other garbage. Across the street is a liquor store which isn’t helping this park. As I said that just lowered rating to a 2

There's no place better to go on a hot summer day than Crane Park! The shade trees are so giant they must be at least 100 + years old and they cover almost the entire space. Which means that you can easily find a picnic table that is in the shade! Nice neighborhood, great place to stop in and have a picnic lunch.

Awesome park. Amazing shade and has everything you'd want in a park: nice grass, great trees, tennis courts, a basketball court, ample room for games such as hot carrot, and even horseshoes. Overall, easily a top contender for the best park in the 'Lock.

Nice, shady park with a great playground, basketball hoops, lots of benches and picnic tables, and tennis courts. Nice walking paths all throughout the park. Lots and lots of grass to play Frisbee or kick a ball around. There are 2 sets of swings, jungle gym, and many other ride or climb on activity items for the little ones. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and friendly. Plenty of parking all around the whole park, including handicapped parking. And so much wonderful shade during the hot months. If you want to celebrate a birthday or another type of gathering, you will need to go to Turlock Park & Recreation and reserve the spot you want. There are fees involved. You can go online to the TP&R website to find pricing and info about that. Always clean and well kept. There are restrooms but may be questionable on weather or not you would want to use them. There are barbacue pits next to each picnic table but again you may want to bring your own little portable grill to cook your goodies on. Plenty of room for a bounce house if your renting one or plenty of room for large gathering of ...

Visiting from out of town, and this is one of the dirtiest parks I've visited on the trip. Picnic areas were covered in trash from children's parties. Maybe if people picked up after themselves it could be a nice place to hangout with family, but instead they leave water balloons, confetti, plastic wrappers, bottle caps and cigarette butts for my toddler to try and eat. Had to spend a fair amount of my time there cleaning the area surrounding the benches to prevent the kids from getting ahold of...
