I DO NOT recommend anyone booking a party at Upsurge Tuscaloosa. We paid full price of $275 plus two of the parents attending paid another $44 to jump. We were booked during another party...fine whatever. But because of COVID we couldnât use a quarter of the facility (the obstacle course). They didnât tell me before hand and covid isnât a problem when booking multiple parties during the same time frame. I did complain yesterday while there and the employees were super nice and said they wouldnât be able to do anything that I needed to speak to Jennifer who wasnât there. I called today to ask why after speaking on the phone numerous times did no one tell me that part of the area wouldnât even be open. Had I known I wouldnât have a booked a party at full price without getting the full experience. She then proceeded to tell me that my 7year old wouldnât have been able to complete it on his own anywayđđ¤Śđ˝ââď¸ and NO ONE has complained yet since being back open in May. NOT true. I should have read reviews before hand, my fault. But there are complaints on google. She told me she didnât know what I expected that they couldnât give me a discount because they can barely keep their heads above water during a pandemic. I wasnât asking for a discount. I just said they should have told us before booking at full price that we couldnât use the full facility. She was super rude so I was too đ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸ Iâm usually super nice to people who work with the publicâs because I know how it is but she...
Read moreMy kids have come here for a few years now, and they enjoy it very much. When you enter, you'll sign some digital forms on ipads, and be told the kids must wear socks. They'll have special grippy socks (black with green rubber at the bottom) for you to buy.
When you pay, you're given a wrist band with a pattern to signify when your time is up. During the day, the attendants will keep up with these - but roughly two hours before closing it's a free for all.
There is a water fountain to drink from, but with the pandemic they've had it closed off for the last 2 years. There is also a little food area you can order basic food and drinks from for a price. Feed the kids an hour or so before - don't buy the food here since the portion size is small and it's over priced.
The 'park' is entirely enclosed and is broken up into multiple sections. There is a dodge ball area. A full obstacle course area that an attendant will guide your child through one at a time. There is a large basic trampoline area in the back where kids can just run and bounce, and finally there is a spot where kids can jump from up high into foam pits and do some foam combat play.
My kids (11 and 12) usually go for the obstacle course 1-2 times, my daughter then runs all over the trampoline area before joining her brother at the foam pits for the rest...
Read moreFirst time letting my boys go here was tonight. They charge $25 for 2 hours. Pretty expensive to have poor security for the kids shoes. My son's brand new Jordan's that he received for his birthday on yesterday walked clean out the facility and no one knows what happened! Then the security camera points at the back of the cubby that holds the shoes instead of the front. The staff was very nonchalant and said they looked at the cameras but never seen anyone go to the cubby and get the shoes. I was told I couldn't see the video! I asked for the owners contact information and I was told that she was out of town doing a grand opening for another spot in Decatur! I am very disappointed in not only my child's shoes being stolen but the fact that there was a lack of concern! We will not be back, I will not refer this plave to anyone, I will be making every person possible that I know aware of this incident, and I hope you all do something to better your services! Supersjate has better security of the shoes and they only charge $10 for 4 hours! I am disgusted with my experience. If I could rate you all -10 with no stars I would! I work too hard as a parent for you all to be so negligent with...
