Impasta — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

I’ve eaten ImPasta regularly over the last year and it has gone from a place that I like to a place I’m not going back. Placed an order for pick up and was told 15-20 min for my order. 17 min later I arrive and pay for my meal. Then they proceed to throw my lasagna together. No hand washing and no gloves. Straight from the cash register and counter to handling ingredients for my meal. I didn’t have time to wait so I left. Called to get a refund hoping to talk to the manager so maybe I could salvage my opinion and continue to be a patron but he couldn’t be bothered to take a call. The other reviews are true. The sauce has become a lot more watery than it used to be and today when I entered one of the guys was standing...

I have waited a long time to try Impasta. Today, I skipped the lunch I already had packed and went to Impasta. So much was wrong… No menus, you have to look online, cook was vaping, gloves not being worn, workers smoking right outside the door… I had to walk through smoke to get to my car. I ordered the chicken alfredo, it was more water than anything. Absolutely no flavor, my salt and pepper packets weren’t enough to help the taste. It was so evident that the chicken was pre-cut pieces of frozen rib meat that I didn’t even want to eat them.. a disaster. I already feel like I will likely get sick. I basically had noodles for lunch. I will not...

Ordered from here off of Waitr. Was beyond pleasantly surprised at not only the amount of food, but also how good it was. At roughly $10 a plate it's fairly priced and worth what you pay. I ordered the house lasagna and got an 8" to go tin FULL of it. And I don't mean just a serving put into the tin, no, they made it inside of the tin meaning that someone took the time to put everything into the tin and cook it. They have earned mine and my wife's business...
