This was our 62nd room. We had an amazing time playing Lost City of Atlantis! The room is stunning and incredibly immersiveâfrom the underwater lighting and sound effects to the chilled temperature that makes you feel like you're deep beneath the ocean. The puzzles were clever, well-integrated into the theme, and had some great âaha!â moments. One of our favorite parts was the mid-game team splitâit added excitement and was something we really enjoyed, as it was a refreshing change from games that start with players separated. The waterfall transition between rooms was also a standout, adding to the sense of adventure. Our game master, Rylee, was fantastic: attentive, helpful, and really elevated the experience. We did run into a small issue with a final puzzle disc being hard to read, but Rylee stepped in quickly and kept the momentum going. Highly recommend this room to any escape room fan looking for an immersive, creative, and memorable challenge! See our review of Horror Circus below
"This was our 57th escape room, and we chose Horror Circusâan incredibly fun and immersive experience with just the right amount of jump scares! The theming was top-notch, fully pulling us into the eerie world and storyline. We especially enjoyed the unique dexterity-based puzzles, which were a fresh challenge we hadnât encountered before. Rylee was a fantastic game master, striking the perfect balance with hints when needed while keeping the excitement high. Highly recommend this room for horror fans looking for an engaging and...
Read moreMy wife and I did the School of Magic rooms. We enjoyed the brain teasers the rooms have. I really liked that these are private rooms just for your party. I don't like asking for clues, but the one hour time limit made that impossible for us. We got stuck at a couple places and had to ask for a hint. There was no one booked after us so our host allowed us some extra time to try to figure things out. Thanks to Lyza for the extra time and the subtle hints.
My only advice to anyone going is to bring a flashlight. Cell phones are supposed to be locked in a locker before entering a room so you can't use that light. The rooms are dimly lit and it caused us extra time not seeing a certain clue and when trying to solve a color puzzle. The wand tip light is a certain color that causes you to see colors differently when trying to use that as a light source.
To the game room management, I'd like to suggest a 50% discount for people who don't take any clues and want to solve things on their own. Maybe some sort of "Clueless Discount Club." I wouldn't mind taking a few turns to figure things out, but at the full price that gets costly. it will be extra work tracking those people to keep them honest (not using it on new games the first time), but hopefully the repeat customers to the room makes...
Read moreI absolutely loved this escape room! I would like to go over step-by-step how we attended the Game Over Escape Room - JAX.
First, there are four different rooms to choose from based off difficulty level. We chose the Top Secret room & reserved a time slot. I enjoyed how the time slots were available online.
We then had to sign a waiver confirming that the establishment is not responsible for any injuries.
Second, when we arrived to the GAME OVER ESCAPE ROOM, we checked ourselves in at the front desk. The employees at the front desk were very accommodating & kindly communicated that there was a wait.
Next, we put our personal belongings in a locker & headed to our escape room. There, Brandon, broke down the rules & terms of agreement for the escape room. He ensured us that if we needed assistance, to say we need a âclue.â Furthermore, he was very accommodating for our time in the room.
I would highly recommend this place! The area was clean, the atmosphere was fun, & the employees...
