Outstanding small park and really great for families, but there’s a complaint I have:
At 630 every morning a weathered brown SUV pulls up and an old guy lets his multiple large dogs jump out and sprint all over the park off the leash. I have 3 elderly dogs, 2 and of which have severe heart issues and that’s why I’m walking them at the park in the morning when the heat isn’t oppressive. Having uncontrollable dogs 4x their size running past them only makes their health issues flare up worse than they already are. Read moreI visit this park all the time because it is within walking distance of my house. My daughter can play there when she is home. It has a playground and several soccer fields as well as tennis courts. It surrounded by churches and a school so everything is pretty quiet on most afternoons. There is not very much traffic and the speed limits are low so it is not a hassle to cross the streets to get there with small children. Also for older kids or adults there are plenty of sidewalks. Read moreGreat little park with a restroom and trash cans scattered about.. as a cute red box for 'leave a book take a book'.. lots of shady tree areas for picnics (full-on ground sitting with some breeze), there are tables and benches too. Large play gym for the kids.. with lots of slides, a climbing wall, wiggle bridge, slide pole, and ladder. Climbable merry-go-round. Small swing area w 4 swings (2 big kid seats 2 toddler seats) There is enough field for both soccer and American football w goal and bleachers.
Edit: restrooms were locked when we visited the park 9/6 at 1pm .. shame we left...
