Little Italy's Resturaunt in Tyler - you never know who's a reviewer when they come in.. headed to yelp next so, yeah thanks! I hope you lose all of your inside customer tip orders to the slice app, that's cheaper.
Shrimp Scampi appetizer is $12.95 on the Slice app, and the Shrimp Scampi entre is $16.95 on the slice app. I accidentally hit the appetizer, but wanted a meal.
So... when I go in to ask them to upgrade to the meal, here is what they told me.
The Shrimp Scampi - ON THE MENU is $19.95 so I have to charge you for a side of noodles and a side salad. She rang it up to $12.58. I paid then thought....... I just paid $25 for a $16.95 entre.
So I ask for some of my money back.. she would NOT adjust it because "the register" does not know how to communicate with the kitchen to upgrade the order. "then don't use to register, go to the kitchen and tell them."
Then I asked to see the menu and also noticed that the Scampi was not even $19.95, it was $17.95 so she lied and over charged me. I was PISSED at that point.
Yall, if you could see the meal. I didn't take a pic. The $5.99 side salad was one cup of chopped lettuce, and ONE tomato Wedge. LITERALLY NOTHING ELSE..... NOTHING ELSE!!! NOTHING ELSE YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEN.... the $5.00 side of noodles that I ordered was not even a side of noodles. IT WAS THE ENTREE SIZE, all together like I ordered a $16.95 meal. I would have rather had the extra noodles that I paid for. She said the side order was way bigger than the amount that came in the entre, that's why it was $5.99.
In my mind - I was thinking they would charge me the $4 or $5 difference and make it an entree... they did not. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
But I did learn that their food is cheaper on the app if you don't do what I did. They are charging wayyyyyy more in the resturaunt AND you have to tip. ROBBERY!! So FYI.... don't eat at little Italy in Tyler, order from the slice app because they are robbing your coins.... I WILL NEVER GO INSIDE THAT...

My two aunts and I went to Tyler specifically to eat here and celebrate a birthday of someone close to us in our family.
The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I particularly enjoyed eating inside the restaurant. It wasn’t crowded, nor did it have a dull appearance.
We started with bread, along with some salad and soups. All of the salads and soups were good. Their house dressing was splendid. We jokingly requested for a pint of it once our waiter returned.
Our appetizers were fried mushrooms and fried mozzarella sticks, both of which tasted excellent.
For the main entrées, I ordered the Chicken Florentine. Absolutely spectacular and plenty of food left.
My aunts ordered the Chicken Marsala and the Veal Romano. They loved theirs as well. One of them even remarked that it tasted like it was made with “grandma’s love.”
My cousin and his girlfriend ordered the Ravioli and Spaghetti with Meatballs. They both highly approved of their choices as well.
Lastly, I ordered a couple of Cannolis to take back home (along with the plethora of leftovers). This was my first time having this Italian dessert. They were to die for, not too sweet and really light. Simply put, this was a stellar dessert.
The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming throughout.
Our server, Louis, went above and beyond to make our time at Little Italy a great one. He was personable, made us laugh, accommodated our every need, and served everything to us in a timely manner. He earned a sizable tip from us!
Thank you to the owner, Louis, the chef, and everyone else who puts their all into making this such an amazing spot to make memories and eat delightful food at the same time. We...

The service was great, our waitress was Kaitlyn (I think). She seemed alittle anxious but I did let her pick my plate.. so I could of been the reason lol. She definitely recommended something I would of never even bothered reading. The "Chicken Murphy" I added spinach just because... and let me just say!!!!! If you are a pasta lover and have a taste for almost anything, ask your waitress what she recommends. They work there, so they get to see an taste everything on the menu! The chicken Murphy had just the right amount of spice to it... not over powering. I did pick the green jalapeños out (I like the taste more then the pepper itself). I'm not a picky person and what I don't like i will pick off with no problem. The pizza was great! You will get filled up on bread really quick. My spouse thought he was ganna eat a whole 14" pizza (medium) to himself and I just laughed because I eat more then him and even told him I have left overs just ordering thw small pizza! So if your wanting a pizza as a meal and are worried about it not being big enough let me tell you, it is lol. The prices are fair. Didn't really care for the only 1 free re-fill thing on fountain drinks but all in all we will be back! We didn't order an appetizer only because we've been getting full off of them, and are not able to get a taste for the main course fresh out of the kitchen.. lmbo! Also kept...
