The gardens are absolutely beautiful, donât get me wrong. Itâs a lovely place to take pictures, my one star review is based solely on the way we were treated & spoken to. It was a busy night, being prom night & Easter weekend. We had heard highly of this place & went to take maternity pictures for our first pregnancy, these pictures were really important to me. I understood things were busy & chaotic so we spent a lot of time waiting & allowing the prom attendees to get their pictures first, as they had somewhere to be & we didnât. We got our pictures done & most everyone had left out but us 3: our photographer, my husband, & I, & we were just taking some last minute poses we had previously missed when we were yelled at from across the yard, âLeave, now.â mind you, it was 7:15 & the sun was still setting, we had plenty of light & there werenât any hours posted anywhere so we were unaware of any rules we could have possibly been âbreakingâ & at first we thought maybe we had misheard her, so we asked politely, âIâm sorry?â To which she responded rudely with âThe lawn is closed, you need to leave, now.â My husband responded âthere are nicer ways of saying that, but donât worry we are leaving.â To which she again said, âOkay, leave. Nowâ while we were heading towards the exit gate.. my husband told her to have a good weekend & a Happy Easter & she muttered âspickâ under her breath at him .. not sure if it was because we are an interracial couple or if this woman was just having a bad day, but it goes without saying we will never be back. There was no reason to have been so rude & to use racial slurs to get your point across .. I feel like someone who has their property open to the public should have better people skills than that of which were...

Read moreWe will NEVER be back! The woman that owns the garden called me a âspickâ I kid you not! I could not believe it, my wife and I were getting our maternity pictures taken for our first baby and we had been there about an hour it was very busy being prom night there were a lot of older kids taking pictures as well as us so we spent a lot of time waiting but we wanted to get the pictures taken before sunset. It was about 7:10, 7:15 and we were the last ones there, my wife, I, and my sister (our photographer). The lady yelled at us from across lawn and we didnât hear her clearly so we walked over to her and asked what she had said. She proceeded to tell us âThe lawn is closed, you need to leave now.â I simply said âum maâam there are nicer ways of saying that but donât worry weâre leavingâ she then said âokay, leave now.â We were leaving and I looked back and told her âwell I hope you have a good weekend and a great Easterâ she then said âspickâ and turned and walked away.. I was in disbelief from the experience. Completely shocked! This was completely uncalled for! That being said under no circumstance would that have been acceptable. Once again we will NEVER EVER be back and I hope this lady still has a great weekend and a great Easter because she seems to need a pick me up, her being as bitter as she was tonight.. Iâm not typically one to leave a bad review but my wife was so excited for these photos and her experience was ruined because of a bitter old...
