New York Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Tyler

We just came in from Bergfield Park. My fiance and I were blowing up balloons for all the kids in the park and had one left over. We walked in with the balloon and set it down on the waiting chair. The young gentleman who took our order(large stuffed crust meat lovers) took the blown up balloon to the back room and rudely(with a rude comment)discarded it after learning my fiance brought it in and left it by the entrance on a chair for any child to have. There was another child in there he could have given the baloon to. He kinda had a snotty attitude from start to finish. My fiance noticed he was seemingly gay so I loudly and intentionally made some insulting remarks that everyone must've heard. I was hoping he would confront me to give me a reason to smash him out right there but he didn't. Instead, he told this black lesbian chick (employee/cook) what i said. she got loud and started cussing but didn't confront me either. I was angry and offended because he and she thought I must have been some type of punk and not some hardened criminal (which I am) who had done a considerable amount of time in prison for three very serious felonies- kidnapping strong armed robbery and felony assault with intent to harm. All I could think about was smashing them both but my daughter was with me too. She's the only reason why I didn't get Ill, just to prove a point. I still made up a lame reason to walk up to the register a couple of times to give the lesbian her chance but she said nothing. She just stared. I couldn't tell if she was staring at me or the TV behind me. It really sucks bcuz that was the best pizza my fiance and i had in a very long time. My daughter loved it too. Idk if i will be back for more pizza...

Man if only they offered more than 5 stars 🌟 !!! So this was the first time my family and I got to eat at this wonderful gem 💎!! Upon first entering the restaurant..... wow let me just say this place is spotless and beautiful, it even smells clean!! The floors are not sticky and there were no fingerprints on any surface! What I could see of the kitchen area was also very clean and ready for customers! Every table was clean and set, and not over done!! The restrooms also very clean from top to bottom, also well stocked with toilet paper and hand soap 🧼, they do have a changing table in the ladies restroom as well as both restrooms being handicapped accessible!! Every employee working today were very friendly, all actually looked happy to be there and happy to serve!! I felt instantly welcomed and at ease. They have an amazing selection of pizza, pasta and other great items that we will definitely be trying in the days to come!! Our 2 year old is super picky but let me just say she actually ate her entire 2 slices of pizza toppings and crust 😁!!! Both of our pizza selections were delicious and covered with yummy fresh toppings!! Even the garlic cheese bread was delicious, fresh and full of flavor, paired with an amazing marinara that makes you want to put it on everything 😋!! I just wanted to say thank you so much for a truly wonderful meal that left us feeling full in the best way and super happy that our 2 year old was so full she went right down for her nap!! This was a wonderful lunch for the 2nd day of our new year!!! Our family highly recommends that you try...

We have eaten here so many times and have enjoyed it. But after today we will never be ordering from here again. Yesterday we placed an order, went to pick it up, and they said they accidentally gave it to the person before us. They told us they could make it again, and then 20 min later after WE checked in again while waiting in the car, they said they actually didn't have the ingredients. The girl who called herself manager, Hannah, made it right by apologizing, issuing a refund, and telling us we could call today to get the same order placed free of charge and she was going to let manager Anthony know and to ask for him. I called 20 min ago and told him the situation, didn't seem like any note was left for him, said he could only give us 2 dinners free (instead of the 6 dinner plate order we originally purchased), and that Hannah was not in a position to offer us a order that large for free for the inconveniences yesterday.

Honestly, that bothers me that they wouldn't stand by their word to a frequent customer, but the reason I'm writing this review is how horrible Anthony treated a customer. He told me to stop talking because he had other customers to talk to while I was trying to explain the situation, and hung up on me twice. We will always be going to Little Italy down the street for pizza and pasta now, never again here.
