We enjoy shopping at the U City Farmers Market year-round. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We were attracted by products that are organic, grass fed, free range, or fresh caught. It is open every Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm through November 2, 2025. It is also open Thursdays 4pm-7pm through September 25. Additionally, there are special events. Currently at Centennial.Commons 7210 Olive Blvd in Heman Park. See their web page or social media pages for more details.

The lady that runs the market is very rude. I don’t have a problem with the vendors as they’re always very kind to me. I don’t come here often because my last experience was not the best. I noticed the racism straight away coming from the lady that runs the market. I decided anyway to come back and get some coins using the snap program. As I’m purchasing the items. I was told the wrong information on which coins I could use when purchasing a certain product. It was no problem. I paid cash instead for the remainder as it was only a couple dollars left to pay and I’d rather the farmers get their money worth. Anyway, I approached the lady asking if something was available for me to get Using the snap program, I genuinely did not know, so the vendor asked me to ask her to make sure it was OK. I wasn’t pressing or anything. Instead of a simple, yes or no, I was told that I knew this as I’ve been here before and I actually worked at the market previously years ago, I didn’t work with the snap very often, and this is only my second time on the other side of things. She pointed at the sign, very aggressively, saying to me. You know this you know this. It was very rude. It made me feel very small. As a black woman I’m used to racism..It’s s something we always have to be used to but this? I’m supporting you! I’m supporting the vendors! I’m supporting the farmers! Weather im using cash or snap should not matter. It was no problem as I covered the cost for a loaf of bread with cash. I was tokd to put my food back. She was very rude. Remember to be kind to one another. This world is already such a hard place to live in and you never know what others are going through. I’m very disappointed in how she acts towards me. She knows me as we’ve known each other for years, but I forget at the end of the day that she will treat me a certain way just because of the color of my skin. I will not be returning. I wish a good season to the amazing farmers and vendors. Please take consideration of how you treat your customers in the future. And ask Yourself if you would like to be treated the way you have...

It's a very nice farmers market to check out (and a great place to spend money that stays local!) But I was disappointed that the website didn't have more information about which vendors to expect. I read on the website that they have "bread, artisanal meat, vegetables, fruits, pastries, coffee, and handmade goods" or something to that effect, but when I went on a Saturday in late May there was only pastries, coffee, and handmade gift items. I know it's early in the season for vegetables and fruits, but I was going hoping to buy fresh baked bread, jam, and artisanal meats to take on a hike. I could only find jam, and bread and meat isn't seasonal so I'm not sure why the website claimed they have those vendors. I think the group that organizes this farmers market could do a much better job with...

Like the market and vendors but last weekend I went there to buy some goods and was approached by the manager saying I had to wear a mask or leave. I mean come on...it’s outside and we are post-pandemic. Get with the program. The city and county have opened things up and dropped this requirement indoors let alone outdoors. I have a right to not wear a mask as I am an American, protected and it’s a public place. If you want to wear one fine, but it should not be required. I’ll patronize other local markets until they change their policy. I also will complain...
