A close friend of mine was in the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde production. I had never heard of the Little Theater - it really is very small, with five rows of old theater seats - but the close atmosphere makes the acting so personal and powerful. When one young lady had to perform a lengthy scream in one scene, the hair stood up on the back of my neck; I never felt a reaction like that while watching a movie. There was a bit of over the top comedy, and some rapping, singing and small dance numbers. The theater seats about 60, and the show was almost sold out!
