Naylors Run Park — Attraction in Upper Darby

Clean safe peaceful environment to enjoy nature. Great place for a picnic! Great place to go to the playground! Great place to play sports! Great place to jog! Great place to play tennis & basketball! Clean courts! When I was a kid I was excellent marble shooter & was more likely the only girl & was one of the top champions that participated. Cute bridges there to watch the water/take a photo/video. Great place to walk your dog on a leash. Everyone cleans up after them so you would have no sense they we're there unless you see somebody walking their dog. (Watch out for snakes in the summer. Don't hug the trail. Look out for any cucumber smells & shed skin behind. You don't mess with them, they won't mess with you. Non-poisonous! Will not bother anyone near playground equipment. Usually stay where the thick vines a leaves & where the thick trees are at on the right. Watch while walking. They are as much as scared as you are towards them! To make things more comfortable for you carry a big stick. Really rear to find any they usually nocturnal. So usually hearing other people & other species keeps them low-key out of scene & don't want to be bothered. Eats all the mosquito & bugs that would try disturb anyone during the day anyways so they give a great tribute to the environment without anyone to notice. Nature is grand! ;) Lol!) This park is great for barbecues, outdoor celebrations like graduations and birthdays, with ample grass areas and benches and tables for seating and laying out food/gifts/etc. There's a playground for the kiddos, the creek runs through it to create separation between groups of people hosting gatherings, and there's also a nice little trail for those who feel adventurous. Tennis courts sit near the street, and stay quite active year round. Only draw back is that there are no bathrooms at this park, so attendees would have to go to the shopping center across the street and use Sav-A-Lot, sometimes they say no though. Good for catching Pokémon also has playground at least 2 tennis courts clean park plenty of room for dog walks , picnic areas small stream. 3 large parking lots huge green fields with trees . Under the trolly headed to 69th street. Beautiful ,plenty of room for little kids to burn off a lot of energy.check out all the fields incase I missed something .
