What a great place! I drove down there to pick up some oxtails. $4 a lb! Where are you going to get oxtails for $4 a pound! Usually, you're paying $10 per pound. A friend had suggested that this was a great place to get meats. When I got there, the nice lady showed me where to park, and then helped me out in the store. She explained how they sell meats very well. You can buy meat by the whole animal, or in sections. I'm seriously considering the 8th of a cow. I don't know if I could eat all that meat, but it seemed like a great deal as far as the price goes. I may go into halfsies with a family member. I don't think I eat 40 lbs of meat in a month by myself, but I guess I could freeze it. It comes frozen already, so that will save me a step. I like the fact that you get it directly from the farm. It's not sitting in some store where you don't know what they did with it. With a great customer service, and the decent price, I would recommend this place for people who are looking to stock up on meat, or a restaurant who wants to get their meat directly from the farm.

We got the quarter cow from The Sickler's. Sustainably and ethically grown with a deep focus on regenerative soil and microbe maintenance. Connecting with that deep sense of nature is essential. It's one of my favorite purchases outside my Smoker. The care given to the cattle translates to some of the best meat you're ever going to get that rivals even major suppliers of Wagyu meat. The fat is rich and flavorful, adding richness to everything it is cooked in. The ribeyes are phenomenal, and the ground beef is perfect for everything from chili night to pasta night. It's hearty and very, very flavorful. I cannot recommend the chuck roast any higher. It's perfect in Mississippi Pot Roast, adding some potatoes to soak in the flavors. You'll want to reduce butter because the fat is so rich. It's literal perfection. Many thanks to the Sickler's for doing the work they have put into the farm. I'm hoping for many more seasons of meat shares.

Excellent quality products and people at Sickler's! The meat is definitely some of the best I've had and is consistently packaged and sealed well. Rachel explained their farming approach to us and was so welcoming to me and my little kids when we came in. You can tell that the care they put into feeding and raising their animals translates to a top quality product. They also have some other great local items from nearby farms or shops (spices, honey, chocolate, tea, and others). Highly recommend the pork shoulder and chuck roast for smoking (pics after first hour attached). Merlot steaks (cut of meat, nothing to do with wine) tasted like thin cut fillets and were super tasty (made into sandwiches with fresh rolls from the store!). Rosemary garlic sausage and chorizo are also must buys. The bacon is uncured and the smoky flavor that comes through when cooking is unparalleled--it smells and tastes like it came right out of the smoker.

I’ve been going to Sickler’s for all my pork and beef products for about 1 year. There is a NOTICEABLE difference in their quality of meat; the taste and texture is like no other in South Jersey.

I find them to be reasonably priced, but recently tried Burlington Beef just to have a comparison other than ShopRite. My family had a hard time eating Burlington’s meat because of taste and appearance of product. My son told me he’d never go back (I won’t either).

Sickler’s is a pleasure to walk into; they’re always welcoming and helpful, and my son loves to join me (which says a lot, due to his weak stomach). He’s always ready to see what rolls and goodies they’ve brought in for the week, and gets very excited when we decide on burgers and dogs for the weekly meal plan.

Most importantly, I trust Sickler’s meat. The owners are kind, humble, and willing to share information on their animals. I love that I can see all the cows as I pull up, running in green grass, looking healthy and well cared for.

I always recommend this place to people looking for high quality, trusted meats. I’ve never experienced a Mast Cell reaction to ANY of their products (which is amazing), nor have I ever bought a bad piece of meat. I took my mother with me last weekend to grab a steak for my father and he said, ā€œThis is the best steak I’ve ever had.ā€ We now plan to go back and buy for my aunt as well.

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to visit this farm and try their product. You won’t be...

My husband and I were looking to gather Information about purchasing a Grass-fed cow for meat and were referred by a family member to Sickler's Farm. We made it a family outing with our two little boys and we were not really sure what to expect. We pulled up to a small little store on the farm and were greeted by Rachel immediately (I later found out, her and her husband own the farm). She spent so much time with us. I couldn't be more grateful for her patience, time, and knowledge. There is a large selection of beef and pork products in the store and a few chicken products. Quite a variety of awesome sausage flavors, locally made ravioli and pesto, and fresh eggs from their chickens. We usually buy our meat from the Amish market in Mullica Hill or Meloni's in Blackwood. From now on, we will be coming here when we want to stock up. Local, fresh, grass-fed beef (finished off with their non gmo, home-grown corn) and pork is what they provide and I will support them now that I know they are there. The icing on the cake was the tour she gave us and our kids. We learned so much and her time and attention was priceless. This young family has a thriving farm and provide what we could all use more of - healthy,...
