Through the lens of a visitor who has not hiked anywhere else in Tucson, I enjoyed the hike. I was looking for Saguaros, and I found them! They were everywhere all over the hills here, which was a treat to see. The trail was free to access and parking was available on the street with a short walk to the trail head. I wanted to find a short trail where other people were also hiking, but there were no other hikers when I was there. It was convenient to access it directly from the JW Marriott (though parking is restricted) and a fairly easy loop to complete. However, the path was narrow and covered with jagged stones, making it difficult to enjoy the views around you without twisting an ankle. I went clockwise but didn’t see a significant advantage either way. Not well marked and I made a couple wrong turns…easily figured it out after a short detour. All in all, I’d say there are better hikes...
