The octopus, was like a rubber tire and sat on top of baked beans, which is the only flavor in a dish that should be so simple and elegant. The meatball appetizer was tough and tight with very little flavor. One of my usual favorites is the squid ink taggleite, usual a light and wonderful dish, but here it is a tomato based sauce that was so salty that it was inedible. It was way over complicated. The scallops served with it were cooked perfectly, however was way overseasoned to the point you couldn't taste the scallop itself. The branzino was tasteless, actually like dish water, was tough and very dried out. The shortribs were fine. But nothing to write home about.
