So disappointed in our meal here. It was a Monday night, there was only a few tables occupied in the restaurant, our server seemed fairly new and not up to JW standards. We ordered pizza and chicken Parmesan. The food took a considerable amount of time, especially for how dead it was. When it arrived, my chicken Parmesan was absolutely raw. See the pic. Although the server apologized and offered to bring me something else, I felt like it wasn’t a true apology. Plus I didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes for another dish. The manager never came over to apologize. The server overall acted like no big deal, maybe it happens often. The pizza was good, that’s why I gave 2 stars. Everything else at the hotel was wonderful during our stay, the restaurant was a huge disappointment. Do not recommend.

Recommend: brussel sprouts Ok: polenta, venison The food was good, but for the high end price, I felt it didn't meet the high end standard. Venison was overly salty. I ordered it medium and rare but chef recommends rare. I don't think I could have eaten it rare given the texture (center felt quite slimy) but the ends did end up a little tough. The sauces/purees were nice but I think overly sweet against the venison Brussel sprouts were delicious if a little on the oily side. Polenta was creamy but pretty bland and was more of what I would expect from grits rather than polenta. I think of polenta being a much finer grind on the corn and being more even consistency throughout. And this was a coarser grind suspended in a thick gravy.

From the moment we stepped into Passaggio, Celyna's warm and attentive service set the tone for a delightful dining experience. Her knowledge of the menu and genuine enthusiasm made our meal all the more enjoyable. Carlos, the manager, ensured everything ran smoothly, adding a personal touch to our evening. The focaccia bread, seafood pizza, and gnocchi short rib were outstanding recommendations. We left feeling not only satisfied but eager to return. Kudos to Celyna and Carlos for their exceptional hospitality!

Passaggio is an absolute gem, and Chef Ken is the mastermind behind an unforgettable culinary experience! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and inviting ambiance, but it was the food that truly stole the show. Chef Ken's creativity and passion shine through in every dish, with flavors that are both bold and nuanced, showcasing the best of Italian cuisine with a modern twist.

Each course was meticulously prepared and presented, turning our meal into a delightful journey for the senses. The fresh, high-quality ingredients and the thoughtful balance of flavors in every bite made it clear that Chef Ken is not just cooking but crafting art on a plate. Whether it was the perfectly seared steak, the rich and savory pasta dishes, or the decadent desserts, everything was executed to perfection.

What also stood out was Chef Ken's personal touch; he took the time to visit our table and share insights about the dishes, adding a layer of connection that made our dining experience feel even more special. His dedication to his craft and to providing guests with an exceptional experience is truly unmatched.

Passaggio is a must-visit in Tucson, thanks in large part to Chef Ken's incredible talent and hospitality. We can't wait to return for another...

We had very nice service, but unfortunately the food was very subpar. The octopus, was like a rubber tire and sat on top of baked beans, which is the only flavor in a dish that should be so simple and elegant. The meatball appetizer was tough and tight with very little flavor. One of my usual favorites is the squid ink taggleite, usual a light and wonderful dish, but here it is a tomato based sauce that was so salty that it was inedible. It was way over complicated. The scallops served with it were cooked perfectly, however was way overseasoned to the point you couldn't taste the scallop itself. The branzino was tasteless, actually like dish water, was tough and very dried out. The shortribs were fine. But nothing to write home about. There is a lot of potential in this place, but it missed the mark accross the board. This explains the nearly empty restaurant on a...
