Wish we could get our money back. We followed all of their "park rules" the host gave us, but the large group next to us violated parking rules (with way too many cars), number of people per campsite, quiet time at 10 PM (with loud music, singing and loud voices), fireworks for their kids, and they even carried around burning sticks that they lit on fire like torches. When we talked to the host about the problem, they said they would "take care of it". Nothing was done other than making them move some of their cars. The obnoxious behavior and noise continued until 12:30 AM. (2 1/2 hours after quiet time started....not to mention the enormous about of smoke that came billowing our way during that time.) It seemed like all the hosts cared about or were willing to do anything about was the number of cars. We were even told to move OUR car, when it wasn't even ours. It belonged to the large group that kept parking their cars by us. Nunn's Park isn't a place I would recommend or even try a second time. Not worth the money we paid to have hosts that don't care about the experience of...

This was a beautiful, quiet campground. Right on the Provo River and next to the extensive River trail, it is the perfect place to camp. It has a cute little playground for kids and nice, clean restrooms, too. Edit: We still love this campground, but I do want to add a warning to fellow campers. The campground was supposed to close in mid-October last year (2022). We reserved a camping space for that last week. A few days before, we got a call that they would be closing the campground a day early. We rearranged our trip so that we could camp there a day early, and they told us they updated our booking. When we got to the campsite, the entire campground was closed. The gate was locked. No campsite managers. No other campers. Luckily, we live fairly close so we didn't waste too much gas and time, but it did pretty much ruin our plans for the entire week. Just be wary if you are planning to visit this campground around the time it closes...

Made reservations two weeks in advance to be next to the bathrooms that were horribly maintained and smelt absolutely horrendous and we couldn't bare to stay, my campsite was not cleared and the ashes in the fire pit were so deep we couldn't hardly use it. I cleaned up beer bottle caps, corn husks and plastic silverware all over my Camp spot. Camp host was nice overall but very rude about us parking off the asphalt (we were in the wrong) but frustrating when there were tons of camps doing the same thing, this could have been addressed nicely. Camp host was mostly nowhere to be found. We had children on bikes going through our camp grounds like crazy! We couldn't find the camp host to address the issue. It's a miracle my children didn't get ran over! I will be speaking with Utah county about the issues. I used to love this campground so much but it's just not being...

1st ac transmission in UT!! A. O. Whitmore was on site, changed the frontier and made history. The Nunns Provo Station Power Plant was the first 44,000 volt hydroelectric plant in America. Built in 1897 by Luclen L. Nunn at an estimated cost of just $50,000, the plant harnessed the power of the Provo River to generate electricity and transmit power over a distance of 32 miles to mining operations in Mercur, Utah. This was almost three times the voltage of any existing line in the nation at that time, and was by far the longest. Although Nunn sold his interests to Utah Power and Light Company in 1913, his innovative ideas and successes helped shape the future of electrical power for all of us.Today there is a beautiful park named after L. L. Nunn.

Picked this park last minute due to questionable weather at our previous campground. A small county park we got a back in (60'driveway) number 17 at the end of the round about. Very tight turn at the one end. Mostly small sites but #17 we were able to back in and not unhook, we are about 50'. Camp hosts Lee and Alace were awesome. The only sites we thought had a river view would be #1 and #10 which we were told was the most requested site. There is a bike/walk/run pathway along the campground and is busy all day long with folks enjoying the beauty. We hiked about 1.5 miles to the Bridal Veil falls, beautiful falls and the trail/path was mostly paved unless you want to hike up to the base of the falls. Nice spot and we will return!

I went on October 16 to take a family's photos and it "closed for the season." There is a small parking lot just outside of the park, so we left our cars there and walked in. The fall colors here are GORGEOUS. So many yellow leaves on the trees and the ground. We saw plenty of places to camp with picnic tables and a grill at each site. There's also bathrooms and a playground. And plenty of people were out running, biking, longboarding, etc on the trail that goes through the park (Jordan River Parkway).
