Cool historical island right next to Vallejo. I decided to run around the island just to get a change of scenery from my normal daily Napa runs. You aren't allowed to run through Touro University as I was told by security it's a "closed campus". Oh well, plenty of other parts to see like the ship/submarine loading docks. I went early in the morning so hardly anybody cars which was nice. All in all cool little island with a few places of interest like a coffee shop in an old Officers quarters house and a museum.

What a cool place to visit. I didn’t plan enough time! So much history and some great new spots to grab a beer (Mare Island Brewing) or Drinks (Savage and Cook)
