Ozark National Scenic Riverways — Attraction in Van Buren

We stayed at Big Spring Campground. There is no water hookups at the sites, so be sure to bring your own or containers to fill at each loop. The bathhouses were nasty. But otherwise a fine spot. We visited a number of area springs, and they were beautiful, especially Alley, Blue and Big springs. We canoed the Current River, using The Landing Outfitters. They were great. Small center with just a few exhibits but very clean and staffed by a very friendly interpreter who gave helpful suggestions and was able to get me directions to the sites that were featured in the video playing in the visitors center.
